CONVEYING ARRANGEMENT WITH KNIVES WHICH CAN BE PIVOTED VERTICALLY AND SHIFTED LATERALLY

A conveying arrangement conveys loose material in a conveying direction, in particular agricultural material. Several knives of a cutting assembly are mounted below a cutting area guiding surface. The material is first conveyed along the cutting area guiding surface and afterwards along a further guiding surface. Both guiding surfaces are mechanically supported by a connecting assembly. A positioning mechanism can pivot the connecting assembly upwards and downwards. This pivotal movement causes both guiding surfaces to be moved upwards and downwards. The cutting area guiding surface together with the cutting assembly can be shifted laterally, i.e. perpendicular to the conveying direction, and is guided during this lateral movement.

Agricultural baler and method for removing a plug of crop material stuck in the feeder duct of an agricultural baler

A method for removing a plug of crop material stuck in a feeder duct of a baler including a bale chamber; a feeder duct communicating with a bale chamber feeder operable within the feeder duct to accumulate a charge of crop material therein and then stuff that accumulated charge into the bale chamber; and crop holding fingers provided at an upper end of the feeder duct to hold back the crop material while the charge of crop material is being accumulated. The method includes steps of in case of a plug of crop material being stuck in the feeder duct with the crop holding fingers in their crop holding position, moving the crop holding fingers in their withdrawn position and causing the feeder to operate in the feeder duct with the crop holding fingers in their withdrawn position.

Electrohydraulic circuit for a drop floor assembly

A crop feeding system for a harvester includes an electrohydraulic circuit comprising electric and hydraulic connections that allow for the movement of a bottom floor assembly, such movement defining the depth of a crop feeding channel in the harvester and allowing at least one variable setting for removing a clog of material in a crop collection channel.

Agricultural Baler and Method for Preventing and Removing a Plugging in the Feeder Duct of an Agricultural Baler

A method for preventing or removing a plugging of a feeder duct of a baler. The baler includes a bale chamber including bottom wall in which an inlet opening is formed therein, and a feeder duct including a top wall and a bottom wall extending between a lower end and a upper end of the feeder duct, the top wall providing an upper boundary of the feeder duct and the bottom wall providing a lower boundary of the feeder duct. The method includes steps of increasing a distance between the top wall and the bottom wall of the feeder duct in at least a part of the feeder duct, while leaving an upper boundary provided by the top wall of the feeder duct and a lower boundary provided by the bottom wall of the feeder duct intact, and operating a feeder in the feeder duct.

Operation and Control of Bottom Floor Assembly

The disclosure relates to a harvester control system that allows for the operation and control of a bottom floor assembly by an operator of a harvester, such as a round baler. The harvester control system generally comprises at least one rotation sensor configured to measure the rotation angle of the bottom floor assembly during the harvesting process, a controller that receives information from the rotation sensor(s), and an operator interface configured to display warning information to the operator if the bottom floor assembly meets certain rotation and time parameters.

Continuous square baler

A feeding mechanism for a crop baler having a quick feeding device including hay guides which can be deflected by a semi cylinder compression mechanism. The hay guides guide the hay into the bale chamber. A cutting device is provided to divide the continuously fed hay into segments of hay to be placed above and below the compression roller. The mechanism also includes a method of storing a segment of hay while the baler binds the bale in the bale chamber with twine. The mechanism stores hay at the precise time the baler binds the bale in the bale chamber and clears the storage area while the next bale is being made. The mechanism will slow the speed of the semi cylinder, quick feed, leaf stopper cutter, and knotter needle system when binding a bale to allow the baler to operate at a higher speed when not binding the bale.

Harvester with rear active bottom floor

A harvester assembly has a feeder assembly, a bottom floor assembly, and a crop collection channel. The rear portion of the bottom floor assembly is capable of variable movement to facilitate the passage of crop material through the crop collection channel with a reduced risk of clogging or plugging of the channel.
