Bi-directional bilge pump
A pump with an outer housing defining an enclosure, an inlet for admitting fluid into the outer housing and an outlet for expelling fluid from the outer housing, a piston for selectively modulating a first fluid pressure, such that the first fluid pressure is associated with a location proximate the inlet, and a member that selectively isolates a second pressure associated with a location proximate the outlet from the first fluid pressure. The pump may also include a first chamber within the outer housing for receiving fluid admitted into the pump from an ambient environment and through an inlet to the pump, a second chamber within the outer housing for receiving fluid from the first chamber, and a piston that both (i) selectively controls the flow of fluid from the first chamber to the second chamber and (ii) selectively expels the fluid from the second chamber into the ambient environment.
Liquid sending device
A liquid sending device includes a plunger pump, which performs an intake operation of liquid to and a discharge operation of liquid from a pump chamber and in which pressure in the pump chamber in a case where the intake operation is performed is lower compared to a case where the discharge operation is performed, a check valve that is provided at an inlet port, has a spherical valve element and a valve seat, and passively operates according to the pressure in the pump chamber in such a direction that the valve element is seated on or detached, a pressure sensor that detects the pressure, and an attachment detector that compares the pressure with a preset threshold value and detect attachment of the valve element to the valve seat in a case where the pressure in the pump chamber is equal to or lower than the threshold value.
Adjustable stop for check valve
A check valve comprises a housing, a fluid passage, a seat, a valve member and a stop. The fluid passage extends through the housing. The seat is disposed in the fluid passage. The valve member is positioned in the passage to engage the seat. The stop extends through the housing to engage the valve member. The stop is accessible from outside the housing to adjust a distance the valve member can travel from the seat. In one embodiment, the stop includes a variable stop feature, such as an offset pin or a cam. In another embodiment, the stop includes a pump control valve. In yet another embodiment, the housing includes markings to indicate a position of the stop. The valve member comprises a ball or a poppet in different embodiments.
Ball cage with directed flow paths for a ball pump
A disclosure pertains to a reciprocating pump configured for pumping fillers or aggregates or cementitious material and the like.
Piston ball guide for a ball pump
A disclosure pertains to a reciprocating pump configured for pumping fillers or aggregates or cementitious material and the like.
SPRAYING APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to a spraying apparatus for spraying a liquid onto a surface. The spraying apparatus includes a tank configured to store a liquid, a neck extending from the tank and defining an opening, a pump assembly including a collar removably attached to the neck, a pump configured to draw the liquid from the tank when actuated, and a housing defining a cavity therethrough to provide a carrying handle. A wand, separate from the tank, includes a body and a nozzle assembly, having a hub rotatably attached to the body and a plurality of nozzles circumferentially arranged around the hub and extending radially outwardly therefrom. An elongate hose, having a first end and a second end, interconnects the tank and the wand by attaching to the pump assembly of the tank at the first end and the body of the wand at the second end.
High-pressure fuel pump
Disclosed herein is a high-pressure fuel pump. The high-pressure fuel pump includes a housing including a chamber provided to compress fuel supplied thereinto, an inlet flow passage that communicates with the chamber to draw fuel into the chamber through the inlet flow passage, and a discharge flow passage that communicates with the chamber to discharge the fuel out of the chamber through the discharge flow passage. The high-pressure fuel pump further includes a piston disposed in the housing and configured to linearly reciprocate to compress the fuel supplied into the chamber; and a discharge valve disposed in the discharge flow passage of the housing and configured to open when a pressure of fuel stored in the chamber is equal to or greater than a first pressure, the discharge valve including an open-and-close member that makes line contact with an inlet of the discharge valve to close the inlet.
Dual-stage pump with switching valve
The present invention relates to a dual-stage pump for a hydraulic system with a housing, a high and low-pressure pump element, a common pressure outlet and a switching valve that is arranged between a tank connection and the low-pressure pump element. The switching valve has a spring element and a piston being movable against a force of the spring element relative to the housing and having a closing member that can be lifted from a valve seat by a control pressure that is tapped on the pressure outlet and applied in a control pressure chamber. On the one hand, the invention is characterized in that the switching valve comprises a tappet that is movable relative to the housing and configured to move the piston and arranged between the control pressure chamber and the piston and has a smaller effective diameter than the piston. On the other hand, the invention is characterized in that the dual-stage pump comprises at least one valve that can be screwed into the housing, wherein a cutting edge of the valve is sealingly cut into the housing.
