PROCESSING IMPLEMENT
A processing device (10), in particular a gardening and/or household implement, comprising a handling device (20) with a gripping portion (30) and a connecting portion (40), and further comprising an electrical power supply (45) and a tool (50) which can be detachably connected to the handling device (20) by means of the connecting portion (40), wherein the tool (50) is an electrical or non-electrical tool and the connecting portion (40) has means by which both the electrical and alternatively the non-electrical tool (50) can be connected to the handling device (20), and to a handling device (20) and a connecting portion (40) for such an implement and use thereof.
TREE PRUNER
A tree pruner includes a pruner body having a first body section and a second body section spaced apart in a longitudinal direction, a blade system connected to the first body section and having a first blade and a second blade that co-operate and for cutting branches, and a drive mechanism is provided in the second body section and includes an operating switch for actuating the first blade and/or the second blade. The operating switch has at least two actuation modes, so that by a first actuation of the operating switch, the blade system moves from a blades-open position to a gripping position and stays in the gripping position, and by a second actuation of the operating switch, the blade system moves from the blades-open position to a cutting position, wherein the gripping position is between the blades-open position and the cutting position.
Telescoping Branch Trimmer
A telescoping branch trimmer includes a telescoping pole. The telescoping pole has a telescoping lock for locking the length of the telescoping pole. A cutter head is mounted at one end of the telescoping pole and an actuation cord is interfaced to an actuator of the cutter head such that a pulling force applied to the actuation cord closes a cutting mechanism of the cutter head. An enclosure has a spring-loaded spool, a leader passing through the enclosure is interfaced to the spring-loaded spool for taking in the leader by spring force. The end of the leader that is distal from the enclosure is removably attached to the actuation cord (e.g., by a clip) to facilitate storage and replacement of the leader and enclosure. The leader is locked from entering/exiting the enclosure until an unlock button is pressed.
CLAMPING MECHANISM FOR AN ADJUSTABLE LENGTH TOOL
A clamping mechanism for an adjustable length tool is provided herein. The clamping mechanism includes a body having a top end, a bottom end opposite the top end, and a top portion proximate the top end; and, a lever rotatably coupled to the body between an unlocked position and a locked position, wherein the lever engages with the body during a movement of the lever to the locked position to cause a deformation of the top portion of the body. According to one embodiment, deformation of the top portion of the body is structured to prevent relative movement between an inner pole of the adjustable length tool and the top portion of the body.
PRUNER
A pruner comprising a pruner body, a cutting system, an electric motor adapted to provide driving power for the cutting system, wherein rotation of the electric motor in a first direction is adapted to provide a cutting action, and a control system for controlling the electric motor. The pruner further comprising a blade stuck detection system adapted to detect a blade stuck situation in which the cutting system is not able to reach the closed position, and the control system, as a response to detection of the blade stuck situation, is adapted in a recut operation to rotate the electric motor in a second direction opposite the first direction, and then to rotate the electric motor in the first direction to actuate the cutting system towards the closed position.
Tree limb cutting device
A tree limb cutting device for trimming tree limbs includes a cutting head that comprises a housing that has a hook coupled to and extending from a top. A blade is positioned in pair of opposing channels positioned in an internal wall of the housing. The blade has a cutting edge and an impact end. An actuator, coupled to and positioned in the housing, is operationally coupled a driver that comprises a shaft which has a striking end and a stopping end. A blade return is operationally coupled to the blade and the driver. A driver return is coupled to the stopping end and the actuator. An extension rod has a first end a second end. The first end is coupled to the housing. A power module, operationally coupled to the actuator through a power line, is coupled to the second end.
TREE PRUNER
A tree pruner includes an extension shaft, a fixed jaw secured on a top of the extension shaft, a blade laterally and pivotally mounted onto the fixed jaw, an operating element connected to the extension shaft for operating the blade and a clamping device laterally secured on the fixed jaw. The fixed jaw and the blade are coupled to cut the branch and the clamping device is provided to clamp the cut branch.
PRUNING SHEARS
Pruning shears include a cutting head with a spring-biased blade pivotally connected to a jaw and arranged to sever a workpiece received in a bight formed by the jaw. A drive mechanism is connected to the cutting head and an elongate housing is connected to the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a rotation preventer for preventing rotation of a second pulley in relation to the drive mechanism when a drawing torque is applied to the second pulley. The drawing torque is greater than a threshold torque, resulting in a second pulley being stationary in relation to the drive mechanism and the first pulley rotating in relation to the drive mechanism.
Extension Rod and Power Tool Having Extension Rod
An extension rod for a power tool may include a plurality of rod portions, with a first connector and a second connector connecting two of the rod portions. The second connector has a sleeve and a primary fastener. The first connector has a guide rod sized for insertion into the sleeve. The first connector also has a secondary fastener engaging with the primary fastener. A first guide ring, a second guide ring, and a third guide ring are located between the guide rod and the sleeve. The first guide ring, the second guide ring, and the third guide ring each include respective conical faces. At least one of the first, second, and third guide rings defines a notch.
