Scroll compressor
Scroll compressor with a stationary, stator scroll and a movable rotor scroll and a drive to move the rotor, whereby in each position places are formed with an instantaneous minimum opening between the rotor scroll and the stator scroll whereby at each height in a minimum opening there is a local transverse internal clearance (S), whereby at least one of the stator flanks or rotor flanks comprises an adapted flank section with an initial local stator flank deviation (T.sub.0i, AT.sub.0u) or rotor flank deviation (R.sub.0i/AR.sub.0u) that is different to zero at each point when the rotor is stationary, and during nominal operation of the scroll compressor corresponding instantaneous final local stator flank deviations (T.sub.fi, T.sub.fu) or rotor flank deviations (R.sub.fi, R.sub.fU) whose absolute values are smaller.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll, which are made of materials having different strengths and which include respective scroll laps. The scroll lap of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll having a lower material strength has a thickness satisfying tl=2a, where tl represents scroll lap thickness, a represents basic circle radius, and represents phase angle. The scroll lap of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll having a higher material strength has a thickness satisfying th=2a, where th represents scroll lap thickness, a represents basic circle radius, and represents phase angle. The scroll lap thickness th of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll having the higher material strength is set to be less than the scroll lap thickness tl of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll having the lower material strength.
Scroll compressor
A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing including a rotational shaft, a cover fixed inside of the casing to partition the inside of the casing into a suction space and a discharge space, a first scroll that is revolved by rotational of the rotational shaft, a second scroll disposed on or at a side of the first scroll to define a plurality of compression chambers together with the first scroll, the second scroll having an intermediate pressure discharge hole that communicates with a compression chamber having an intermediate pressure of the plurality of compression chambers, a back pressure plate coupled to the second scroll, the back pressure plate having an intermediate pressure suction hole that communicates with the intermediate pressure discharge hole, and a floating plate movably disposed on or at a side of the back pressure plate to define the back pressure chamber together with the back pressure plate. The discharge space may have a volume greater by a set ratio or more than a volume of the back pressure chamber.
CO-ROTATING SCROLL COMPRESSOR HAVING BACK PRESSURE STRUCTURE
A co-rotating scroll compressor is provided in which pressure differences between inner and outer portions of a suction chamber are maintained, back pressures are applied to rear surfaces of end plates of a drive scroll and a driven scroll in directions in which the two scrolls are moved toward each other to prevent compression leakage of a fluid, and a lubricant oil is easily supplied to the two scrolls using the back pressures. The co-rotating scroll compressor may include pressure seals between the rear surfaces of the end plates of the drive scroll and the driven scroll and an inner wall of the suction chamber such that the two scrolls are pressed in directions to be moved toward each other by the back pressures, and the oil is supplied to rotary supports and close contact portions of the two scrolls using the back pressures.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR
In a scroll compressor that forms two suction volume parts by engaging paired fixed scroll and turning scroll with each other while scroll laps respectively erected on end plates of the fixed scroll and the turning scroll are opposed to each other and driving the turning scroll to revolve around the fixed scroll, out of the two suction volume parts, one of the suction volume parts that is formed close to a suction port provided in a housing is made larger than the other suction volume part.
Cast-in offset fixed scroll intake opening
A fixed scroll compressor body includes a scroll compressor body casting. The casting has a central body portion having a plate-like base with a spiral scroll rib projecting from the base at a right angle thereto. The spiral scroll rib includes a volume between the spiraled ribs for the compressing of refrigerant. The spiral scroll rib spirals from a central region of the plate-like base to an outer wall of the central body portion. The casting further includes a first inward-protruding portion that protrudes from the outer wall into the volume. A distance that the first inward-protruding portion protrudes into the volume is greater than a thickness of the first inward-protruding portion such that removal of the first inward-protruding portion results in a first intake opening in the outer wall. The first intake opening provides a path for a flow of refrigerant into the volume.
