PALLET SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING PLANTS
A system including components and electronic modules that together form a transportation and growing system for plants and fungi is provided, the system including at least two components, the components further including one or more of pallets, liquid collectors, posts, rails for trays, and accessories useful for managing use of the trays; and one or more electronic modules, the electronic modules further including one or more of processors, logic systems and/or controllers useful for controlling functionality of the system.
WINDOW PLANTER INCLUDING SLIDABLE COMPARTMENTS
A window planter includes a first compartment including a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The first compartment is configured to house a first group of plants. A second compartment is slidably coupled to the first compartment. The first compartment includes a first outer sidewall. The second compartment is configured to house a second group of plants separated from the first group of plants by the first sidewall of the first compartment. A third compartment is slidably coupled to the first compartment. The third compartment includes a second outer sidewall. The third compartment is configured to house a third group of plants separated from the first group of plants by the second sidewall. At least the first compartment and the second compartment are configured to be secured to a window frame.
HANGING PLANT GROWING APPARATUS
A hanging plant growing apparatus is provided for growing a plant in a hanging container. The hanging plant growing apparatus comprises a frame, suspension lines, a hanging element, and a liner nested within the frame. The suspension lines have a first end and second end. The second end secures to the frame and the suspension lines extend upwardly from the frame. The first end secures to the hanging element. The liner has a plurality of pores throughout and sufficient rigidity to maintain its shape when filled with a growing medium.
Plant hanging assembly
A plant hanging assembly for rotatably suspending a plant pot from a support includes a plant pot that has a bottom wall and the bottom wall has a drain aperture extending therethrough. A shaft is extended through the drain aperture in the bottom wall of the plant pot and the shaft is suspended from a support. A plurality of members is each rotatably coupled to the shaft and each of the members is oriented perpendicular with respect to the shaft. The bottom wall of the plant pot rests on each of the members when the shaft is extended through the drain aperture. In this way the shaft suspends the plant pot from the support.
Potted plant hanger
A decorative pot may be filled with soil and decorative plants and hung at a non-perpendicular angle on the side of a larger pot. By hanging at an angle, the decorative plants within the decorative pot are displayed outwards to a viewer, and also serve to obscure both the decorative pot itself as well as some or all of the larger pot, such as the sidewall and rim. Displaying decorative plants and obscuring the sidewall and rim of the larger pot reduces the need to select the larger pot based upon factors such as material, quality, and design, which can all greatly influence the cost of the larger pot. The particular angle of display can be adjusted byproviding adjustable or variably sized hangers and spacers.
PLANT CULTIVATION SYSTEM
A system and method are provided for the indoor and outdoor cultivation of larger fruiting plants. Improved lighting techniques, plant layouts, and space utilization are provided to improve the quality and yields of harvested products from large fruiting plants on a per plant and unit area basis. The uniformity of artificial light is improved from the top to the bottom of tall plants and vines, and overcome the lack of light penetration through the canopy of the plant by changing the orientation of lights from a horizontal to vertical alignment along the side of the plant verses over the top of the canopy, as well as increasing the number of light sources to reduce shading. Plants are trained to grow in specific directions and orientations in a grid system to enable an optimal and uniform light distribution and to improve space utilization in a given growing area.
RAILING MOUNTABLE HORTICULTURAL CONTAINER
A horticultural container for attaching to a railing, including a planter body, at least one leg extending downward from the planter body, and a connecting device. The planter body rests on top of the top rail of the railing, while the legs straddle the top rail. The connecting device attaches to each leg below the top rail, and receives balusters of the railing.
MODULAR CONTAINER
A container with integrated channels that provide rapid and simple attachment and removal of interchangeable, modular accessories to the container's exterior. The accessories facilitate attachment of devices to the container. The accessories, when attached to the channels, provide various possible methods to fix the container to any structure or supporting device in any environment.
METHODS AND CONFIGURATIONS OF A GROWING CONTAINER
Generally described, a growing container for a vertical rack system includes an inner container portion with a plurality of inlet perforations across a sidewall, an opening for plant growth, and a base panel with a plurality of outlet perforations. An outer container portion is configured to at least partially surround the inner container portion, and having a fluid inlet port and a fluid drain port. An upper seal and a lower seal are disposed between the inner container portion and the outer container portion on either side of the plurality of inlet perforations to allow a fluid from the fluid inlet port to cover the plurality of inlet perforations at any tilt angle of the growing container. The fluid drain port allows excess fluid drainage. A racking handle protrudes from the outer container portion with an internal angle corresponding to the tilt angle when coupled to a vertical rack system.
Plant pot cover system
A plant pot cover system, includes a plant pot cover body; a plurality of cover clips; a belt; a watering ring, including a hollow tube with a fertilizer agent inside, a slip tee fitting with an entry aperture, a plurality of adjustable drip fittings, such that the plant pot cover body can be pulled over a plant pot, such that a fertilized water solution drips from the hollow tube into an interior of the plant pot.
