Disclosed is a motor (14) for a ventilation device (10) of a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning system of a motor vehicle, comprising a base (34) for mounting the motor (14) on a support (16); a stator (22); a rotor (20) comprising a shaft (30); at least one bearing (74; 80) around the shaft (30) of the rotor (20); and a decoupling ring (58). The decoupling ring (58) comprises an outer part (60) secured to the mounting base (34), an inner part (62) secured to the stator (22) and forming a recess (72; 76) for receiving the bearing (74; 80) around the shaft (30) of the rotor (20), and elastomer material (64) between the inner part (62) and the outer part (60).
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE HAVING AN IMPROVED FAN AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY AND FAN AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY FOR SAME
A household appliance has an air flow path extending from an air inlet to an air outlet with a fan and motor assembly in the air flow path. The fan and motor assembly comprises a motor drivingly connected to a rotating fan blade subassembly. The fan and motor assembly is adjustable between a first configuration in which the rotating fan blade subassembly provides a first level of air flow and a first level of suction and a second configuration in which the rotating fan blade subassembly provides a second level of air flow and a second level of suction wherein the first level of air flow is higher than the second level of air flow and the second level of suction is higher than the first level of suction.
MOTOR-INTEGRATED FLUID MACHINE AND VERTICAL TAKE-OFF AND LANDING AIRCRAFT
A motor-integrated fluid machine includes a rotating part that rotates around a rotation axis; an outer peripheral part provided at an outer periphery of the rotating part; and an outer peripheral drive motor that provides power from the outer peripheral part to rotate the rotating part. The rotating part includes a rotating support ring around the rotation axis, and blades provided on a center side of the ring and provided side by side in a circumferential direction of the rotation axis. The motor includes a rotor side magnet provided on an outer peripheral side of the ring in a radial direction, and a stator side magnet provided on an inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral part to face the magnet. The motor-integrated fluid machine includes a restraining part which covers and restrains the ring and the magnet from an outside to integrate the ring and the magnet
Rotary drive for an impeller and motor assembly with gas and rolling bearings arranged in housing structure
The present embodiment comprises: a rotary shaft; a rotor mounted on the rotary shaft; a stator for encompassing the outer circumference of the rotor; an impeller mounted on the rotary shaft so as to be spaced from the rotor; a bearing housing having a through-hole through which the rotary shaft passes; a rolling bearing disposed in the bearing housing and coupled to the rotary shaft; and a gas bearing disposed in the bearing housing so as to be spaced from the rolling bearing in an axial direction, and facing the outer circumference of the rotary shaft.
AIR CONDITIONER
First and second towers may discharge air. An airflow guide or converter may change a direction of the air discharged from the first tower and the second tower by moving a gate inside and outside of at least one of the first or second towers so as to block discharged air flowing forward and selectively facilitate an upward air flow. The airflow converter may include a guide motor to provide a driving force, the gate, which may reciprocate between the inside and the outside of the first and/or second towers; and a board guider connected to the gate to transmit a driving force of the guide motor to the gate as a linear motion force.
Backward curved plenum fan having enhanced efficiency
A centrifugal fan for use as a blower in a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) system has a plurality of blades each having a leading edge camber angle of at or about 10 degrees to at or about 30 degrees, a trailing edge camber angle of at or about 10 degrees to at or about 30 degrees, a stagger angle of at or about 35 degrees to at or about 55 degrees, and a chord having a length L, wherein the length L over the diameter of the centrifugal fan divided by the diameter D satisfies the inequality 0.25≤L/D≤0.42. The fan blades having these parameters provide improved fan efficiency at certain operating conditions. The fan blades may further have a forward or radial sweep. The fan blades may have a uniform thickness from the leading edge to the trailing edge.
Compressor
A compressor has a rotor assembly having an impeller for generating an airflow through the compressor, a stator core assembly for causing rotation of the impeller, and a diffuser assembly for acting on the airflow generated by the impeller. SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MECHANICAL SHAFT LOCK ON AN ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP
The present embodiments disclose a mechanical shaft lock for use in electric submersible pumps. The mechanical shaft lock can include one or more shear pins. When an end of the shear pin, e.g., shear pin head, lines up with one or more shearing slots on the MSL or pump shaft, the shear pin engages and stops the rotation of the pump shaft and motor attached to the pump. The shaft lock can be engaged for installing an ESP, disengaged for production after installing by breaking the shear pin upon start-up, and re-engaged for removing the ESP from the wellbore. In some embodiments, the MSL may be configured to be disengaged and re-engaged to deal with well kicks.
