PLANT NURSERY AND STORAGE SYSTEM FOR USE IN THE GROWTH OF FIELD-READY PLANTS
20220151173 · 2022-05-19 ·

A plurality of freestanding non-porous planting blocks, each containing a plurality of tapered planting cells, are used in conjunction with a water container. Each planting cell has non-permeable sidewalls as well as open top and bottom apertures. The bottom apertures of the planting cells on the bottom surface of the corresponding planting block, will be submersed in water within the container allowing for subirrigation. The container can be an in-ground reservoir or a manufactured container of permanent or portable nature. Plant material placed in the planting cells, with or without planting media, will grow into field-ready plants for storage or harvest. The system is used for economically enhanced plant production of field-ready trees, shrubs, forbs, perennials, vegetables and grasses.

Plumbing arrangement for hydroponic growing system

A hydroponic growing system is presented. The system can include multiple growing trays in a vertical arrangement, where a pump supplies the top-most tray and each lower tray is supplied by the overlying tray, and where the plumbing elements for supply and drainage are arranged to one side of the system. The system includes variations to support different crop types within the same system, including removable growing structures for root vegetable, microgreens and supports for vining crops. The system can monitor and adjust the nutrients and other features of the systems water profile to concurrently group multiple crops in differing developing stages.

A cultivation and sampling method for plants grown in a multi-section sampling device, the sampling device including an upper section with an upper section identifier and a number of cultivation containers, and a lower section with a lower section identifier and an equal number of sample containers. When the sampling device is in an assembled position, the upper section is connected to the lower section such that the sample containers are arranged to correspond to the cultivation containers being underneath them.

Garden seed planter

A garden seed planter that displays a color for identifying the type of garden product that will be produced by a plant from a seed contained in a starch capsule of the garden seed planter. In a preferred lollipop form embodiment at least a portion of the garden seed planter starch capsule has a colored coating that is substantially the same color as the garden product produced by the plant to be grown from the seed, and there is a planter stake attached to the seed capsule having a portion that also displays substantially the same color as the garden product.

PLANT-GROWING TRAY
20230255147 · 2023-08-17 ·

A plant-growing tray comprises a plurality of cells, each cell for containing in use a substrate for a plant or a cylindrical stabilised medium for propagating a plant. Each cell is formed from injection-moulded plastic and comprises a cell base and eight inclined side walls extending upwardly from the cell base, and each cell comprises four corner side walls having a corner wall gradient, and four stepped side walls which comprise an upper portion having an upper gradient, a lower portion having a lower gradient, and a step having a step gradient. The step is positioned between the upper portion and the lower portion, and the step gradient is less steep than the gradients of the upper portion and the lower portion of the side wall. Each cell comprises a pair of ribs on each of the four stepped walls, the ribs extending upwards from the cell base. At least a lower portion of the ribs have a rib gradient which is steeper than the gradients of the inclined side walls, and the gradient of the corner side walls is less steep than the upper portion or the lower portion of the stepped walls.

STACKABLE RAISING SEEDLING DEVICE AND METHOD USING THE SAME

A stackable raising seedling device has a device body and a floating planting board. The device body has raising seeding hole parts disposed at intervals and holes disposed intervals. The raising seeding hole pans and the holes are staggered in parallel and with each other along a first direction, the raising seeding hole part and the holes are staggered in parallel with each other along a second direction, and the holes of the first direction and the raising seeding hole parts of the second direction are adjacently arranged. The raising seeding hole pan can receive a culture medium layer, the culture medium layer has an agar gel, and the agar gel is composed of a plant growth nutrient, agar powder and water. The present disclosure improves the overall seed germination rate and the quality of planted crops when massively planting the planted crops.

Method for cultivating plants

A method for cultivating a plant, especially an orchid, is provided. The method involves a seedling at least partly surrounded by a substrate being introduced into a plant pot, the plant pot being introduced into one of multiple cells of a tray and the plant pot being immobilized in the cell, wherein the plant pot is introduced into the cell of the tray until a cell wall which is impenetrable for roots and especially unbreached towers above the plant pot.
