Casing for a turbomachine

A casing for a subsea compressor comprises a main body having a central axis; a plurality of interconnection flanges attached to the main body; wherein the main body comprises an inner layer made of corrosion resistant material; an outer layer applied over the inner layer and made of a composite material; wherein the outer layer extends along the entire length of said main body.

ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMPING UNIT

An electric submersible pump assembly with integral heat exchanger, high-speed self-aligning bearings, and dual bearing thrust chamber is described. The described pump assembly, modules, and components may be used for operating an electric submersible pump at high speeds as well as over a wide range of speeds and flowrates without replacing downhole equipment. The described pump assembly may be shorter than comparable pump assemblies and may be assembled offsite, thereby leading to faster and easier installation with less down time. By operating over a wide range of speeds, the disclosed pump assembly allows the operator to reduce overall inventory, reduce down time for the well, and avoid other complications associated with replacing a pump assembly or other downhole components.

FLUID PUMP ASSEMBLIES AND KITS, AND RELATED METHODS

The present invention relates to fluid pump assemblies in general, and in exemplary embodiments to fluid pump assemblies that are magnetically supported in position, and to related kits and methods useful to circulate water in aquariums. The fluid pump assembly comprises an outer mount, an inner mount, and a pump. The outer mount includes at least one outer permanent magnet; the inner mount includes at least one inner permanent magnet; and the pump includes at least one soft magnetic material. The outer permanent magnet, the inner permanent magnet, and the soft magnetic material collectively form a magnetic circuit.

Oil filtration system for subsea oil-filled machines

A subsea oil filtration system is described that forms a closed circuit with and is mounted on or connected to a subsea rotating machine. According to some embodiments, the oil filtration system enables the removal of dirt and/or water that has entered the barrier fluid/oil system whether it comes from the Hydraulic Pressure Unit (HPU), from the umbilical or from other parts of the oil contained lubrication and/or barrier fluid systems.

This disclosure describes various implementations of a downhole-blower system that can be used to boost production in a wellbore. The downhole-blower system includes a blower and an electric machine coupled to the blower that can be deployed in a wellbore, and that can, in cooperation, increase production through the wellbore.

Fluid processing system

An energy-dissipating device and fluid processing system is provided containing a compressor, a motor, a secondary fluid re-circulation loop, a purge line, and a fluid conduit. The compressor is configured to receive a hot fluid including condensable and non-condensable components, and produce therefrom a primary compressed fluid stream and a secondary fluid stream. The motor is configured to drive the compressor and for ingress and egress of the secondary fluid stream. The secondary fluid re-circulation loop is configured to control an operating temperature of the motor. The secondary fluid re-circulation loop includes a first energy-dissipating device configured to remove excess heat from the secondary fluid stream. The purge line separates a first portion of the secondary fluid stream in the fluid re-circulation loop from a second portion of the secondary fluid stream being returned to the motor. The fluid conduit receives the primary compressed fluid stream from the compressor.

Barrier fluid pressure system and method

System and methods are configured to adjust fluid pressure within a barrier fluid system on a subsea fluid processing machine. More specifically, a barrier fluid pressure system is located at the subsea location and includes a barrier fluid pressure regulator module having one input communicating or being pressure matched with a process fluid flowline and a second input communicating with the barrier fluid pressure system. The pressure regulator module is configured to locally adjust the barrier fluid pressure depending upon the fluid process pressure.

Subsea produced non-sales fluid handling system and method

A system, including: a subsea separation system that separates sales and non-sales fluids, wherein the subsea separation system includes a fluid polishing system; a seal-less pump that boosts production fluid pressure; and a water quality monitoring system, including an oil-in-water sensor and a solids-in-water sensor, that monitors a fluid discharged from the subsea separation system.
