NOISE REDUCTION STRUCTURE OF SUPERCHARGER

A noise reduction structure of a supercharger, comprising: a relief channel of the supercharger having a high pressure pipeline and a low pressure pipeline; a silencing assembly which is arranged at a gas communication position between the high pressure pipeline and the low pressure pipeline. The silencing assembly has a plurality of vent holes with a hole diameter smaller than 20 mm, and the silencing assembly is configured in such a way that the high pressure gas only enters the low pressure pipeline after passing through the vent holes when the high pressure pipeline is in communication with the low pressure pipeline. The noise reduction structure of the supercharger mentioned above has good effect of noise elimination during gas release and low costs.

The present application provides a process for preventing rotating stall and surge in a turbomachine compressor. The compressor may include air extraction pipes connecting the compressor to a turbomachine exhaust area or to the atmosphere, at least one of the pipes is fitted with a flow regulation valve, and each valve has an adjustable degree of opening. The process includes, for at least one of the valves, a complete opening command when the compressor rotation speed is less than a predetermined threshold value beyond which there is no longer any risk of rotating stall and surge and a command for lowering the degree of opening of the valve when the rotation speed of the compressor exceeds the threshold value.

HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSOR AUGMENTED BLEED WITH AUTONOMOUSLY ACTUATED VALVE

Gas turbine engine compressor bleed assembly includes annular bleed plenum between annular outer and inner casings circumscribing compressor flowpath of compressor, upstream and downstream bleed ports disposed through inner casing and between compressor flowpath and plenum at upstream and downstream stages. Bleed path extends from downstream bleed port through bleed plenum and out bleed outlet disposed through outer casing. Autonomously actuated valve such as poppet valve disposed in bleed path or downstream bleed port. Autonomously actuated or poppet valve may be set to open at take-off and/or climb. Bleed outlet may be customer and domestic or engine bleed outlet disposed through outer casing and in fluid bleed air communication with bleed plenum. Another assembly may include annular forward and aft bleed outlets connected to plenums. Bleed path extends from downstream bleed port through plenums and out forward bleed outlet.

Spring preload adjustment device for an aircraft engine air bleed flap

An air bleed device for an aircraft engine, including a frame and a flap able to rotate about an axis in relation to the frame, the device further including a return system configured to bias the flap in a determined position about the axis and including a torsion spring, a first end of which is connected to the flap and a second end of which is connected to the frame. The second end is connected to the frame by adjusting the preload of the spring by screwing when the flap is in the determined position.

Method of operating gas turbine and gas turbine

A gas turbine includes a compressor, a combustor, a turbine, a generator, and a control apparatus, the compressor being provided with an air extraction valves, a plurality of inlet guide vanes, and a plurality of casing air extraction valves at its last stage, in which the control is carried out on at least one of the opening of the air extraction valve, the opening of the inlet guide vanes, and the number of openings of the casing air extraction valves which are defined as control parameters taking blade vibration stress values as indexes based on a compressor metal temperature included in behavior parameters of the gas turbine.

Passive active poppet-type bleed valves

A bleed valve for an air plenum includes a valve body having a poppet seat, a poppet supported by the valve body and movable relative to the poppet seat, and piston slideable relative to the poppet and movable relative to the poppet between an extended position and a retracted position. Gas turbine engines and methods of bleeding fluid from gas turbine engines are also described.

Passive bleed valves with adjustable pressure threshold

A bleed valve includes a housing with an inlet coupled to an outlet by a duct, a guide tube with an orifice fixed in the housing between the inlet and the outlet, a piston, and baffle. The piston is slideably supported on the guide tube and is movable between an open and a closed position, the duct fluidly coupling the inlet and outlet in the open position, the duct fluidly separating the inlet and outlet in the closed position. The orifice fluidly couples the inlet and outlet in the open and closed positions to move piston between the open and closed positions according to differential pressure between the bleed valve inlet and outlet. The baffle is slideably supported by the guide tube to set the differential pressure at which the piston moves between the open and closed positions. Gas turbines and differential pressure adjustment methods are also described.
