COMPRESSOR ROTOR STRUCTURE

Compressor rotor structure for turbomachinery, such as a compressor, is provided. Disclosed embodiments can benefit from sealing sleeves that may be arranged to inhibit passage onto respective hirth couplings of process fluid being processed by the compressor. The sealing sleeves may be affixed to adjoining structures (e.g., adjoining impeller bodies) by way of a slip fit connection to one of the adjoining structures and an interference fit connection with respect to the other adjoining structure, which is conducive to a user-friendly assembly of the sealing sleeves with the adjoining structures.

BLOWER MOTOR

A blower motor is provided and includes a support assembly provided with a first stop step surface, a stator assembly disposed in the support assembly, a rotor assembly disposed in the stator assembly and an end cover disposed on the stator assembly and abutted against the support assembly and provided with a second stop step surface. The rotor assembly includes a rotating shaft and two ends of the rotating shaft are respectively provided with a first bearing and a second bearing. A resilient gasket is provided on one of the first stop step surface and the second stop step surface. The bearings are positioned by springs and cooperate with the resilient gasket to apply a tightening force to the bearings, which can reduce clearances in the bearings and effectively prevent balls in the bearings from making noise under a high-frequency vibration.

Downhole blower system with bearings and seals

This disclosure describes various implementations of a downhole-blower system that can be used to boost production in a wellbore. The downhole-blower system includes a blower and an electric machine coupled to the blower that can be deployed in a wellbore, and that can, in cooperation, increase production through the wellbore.

BAFFLE ELEMENT, DIFFUSER PLATE, AND SEAL SYSTEM INCORPORATING A BAFFLE ELEMENT AND A DIFFUSER PLATE

A seal system for a bearing chamber of a turbomachine includes a baffle element encircling the axis of the machine. The baffle element is formed with front surface including a plurality of gutter surfaces which are angularly spaced about the rotational axis. The seal system can thus be mounted in any one of a plurality of orientations with respect to the direction of gravity, such that in any of the orientations one of the gutter surfaces is directed downwardly.

Moisture removal system for electric compressor device

A compressor device includes a housing and a rotating group with a shaft and a compressor wheel supported on the shaft. The compressor wheel includes a back face. The compressor device further includes a bearing that supports the rotating group within the housing for rotation about an axis. Also, the compressor device includes a spacer that is disposed longitudinally along the axis between the back face of the compressor wheel and the bearing. The spacer is received within a wall of the housing. Moreover, the compressor device includes a moisture removal system configured to receive and remove moisture included within a fluid flow from the back face of the compressor wheel to an area between the spacer and the wall of the housing. The moisture removal system includes a channel cooperatively defined by the spacer and the wall of the housing. The channel extends about the axis.

Balancing ring anti-rotation spacer

A rotating assembly for a gas turbine engine has a balancing ring mounted to a first rotating component having a rotating unbalance about an axis of rotation. The ring is clocked at a circumferential position about the axis to counteract the rotating unbalance. A spacer is axially abutted against the first rotating component to set an axial position of the first rotating component relative to a second rotating component. The balancing ring is locked against rotation relative to the first rotating component in its circumferential position by the dual use spacer.

COMPRESSOR ROTOR HAVING FLOW LOOP THROUGH TIE BOLT
20230193920 · 2023-06-22 ·

Compressor rotor structure for turbomachinery, such as a compressor, is provided. Disclosed embodiments may involve a flow loop that at least in part flows through the interior of the tie bolt or by way of a venting arrangement that at least in part extends through one of the rotor shafts of the rotor structure. Disclosed embodiments may further benefit from seal elements that may be arranged to inhibit passage onto respective hirth couplings of the process fluid being processed by the compressor. In operation, the flow loop may be appropriately pressurized to keep any residual seal leakage that may develop in one or more of the seal elements from travelling onto the hirth couplings
