20170248158 · 2017-08-31 ·

A frame for supporting a horizontal pumping system includes a base assembly and a motor support assembly connected to the base assembly. The motor support assembly includes an upper support plate having a top and a bottom, a first lower support plate connected to the upper support plate, and a second lower support plate connected to the upper support plate. The first and second lower support plates are connected to the upper plate with bolted and welded connections.

Electric pump

At an electric pump, a first gasket is interposed between a stator and a motor housing, and a supporting member, and a second gasket is interposed between the supporting member and a substrate housing. Further, the electric pump has a first snap-fit structure that assembles the stator to the supporting member, a second snap-fit structure that assembles the motor housing the supporting member, and a third snap-fit structure that assembles the substrate housing to the supporting member.

Spring biased pump stage stack for submersible well pump assembly

A submersible well pump has diffusers fixed within the housing and an impeller mounted between each of the diffusers. Spacer sleeves located between and in abutment with hubs of adjacent ones of the impellers define a stack wherein the impellers rotate in unison with the shaft and are axially movable in unison with each other relative to the shaft. A stop shoulder on the shaft abuts the lower end of the stack. A spring mounted in compression around the shaft in abutment with the upper end of the stack urges the lower end of the stack against the stop shoulder. Upward movement of the stack requires further compression of the spring. Up thrust and down thrust gaps between each impeller and adjacent diffusers prevent up thrust and down thrust from being transferred to any of the diffusers.

SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR ABRASION RESISTANT BEARING OF CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

A submersible well pump assembly has a motor that rotates a drive shaft within the pump. The pump has a number of pump stages, each stage having a diffuser and an impeller. A bushing is fixed for non-rotation within the diffuser. A thrust runner sleeve mounted to the drive shaft has an outer diameter surface in sliding rotating engagement with an inner diameter surface of the bushing. At least one seal ring is mounted to the sleeve in sealing engagement with the drive shaft to block the entry of well fluid particulates between the sleeve and the drive shaft.

Modular storage base for pumping devices

A base for pumping devices, the base comprising at least one module with which it is possible to mate one pumping device, the module comprising an intake connector and a delivery connector in order to connect respectively the intake and the delivery of the pumping device respectively to a first tubular element and to a second tubular element to which they are essentially perpendicular, the two tubular elements, the first one and the second one, passing through the base from a first lateral face thereof to an opposite second lateral face thereof, from which they face outward in order to be connected, selectively at either face, to a hydraulic system.

Seal for a centrifugal pump

A seal for use in a centrifugal pump, the pump having a stationary pump casing, a stationary plate and an axially adjustable side liner, is disclosed. The seal includes a base having an inner surface and an outer surface. A band portion extends from the base and a retainer member extends from the band portion. The retainer member is spaced apart from the base and oriented for positioning against a groove formed in the axially adjustable side plate liner of the centrifugal pump.

Load Sharing Spring for Tandem Thrust Bearings of Submersible Pump Assembly

A submersible well pump assembly has upper and lower seal sections connected between the pump and a motor. The seal sections have drive shafts with thrust runners that engage thrust bearing bases. The upper drive shaft will undergo a limited amount of downward movement toward the lower drive shaft in response to wear of the upper thrust bearing base. A spring between ends of the drive shafts transfers a portion of the down thrust on the upper drive shaft to the lower drive shaft prior to the limited amount of downward movement of the upper drive shaft toward the lower drive shaft being reached. A rigid stop member in the coupling transfers down thrust directly from the upper drive shaft to the lower drive shaft, bypassing the spring, only after the limited amount of downward movement of the upper drive shaft toward the lower drive shaft has been reached.

Rotating equipment having static torque coupling between driver and driven

Rotating equipment includes driver equipment, driven equipment and a rotating shaft coupling. The driver equipment includes a driver support connected to a stationary driver shaft, and also includes a driver arranged on the driver support with a driving shaft to rotate and provide a rotational torque. The driven equipment includes a driven unit support connected to a stationary driven unit shaft, and also includes a driven unit arranged on the driven unit support with a driven shaft to respond to the rotational torque and rotate. The rotating shaft coupling couples the driving shaft to the driven shaft and applies the rotational torque from the driving shaft to the driven shaft. The stationary driver shaft couples to the stationary driven unit shaft to provide a static torque load to counteract the rotational torque applied from the driving shaft to the driven shaft during operation.

Centrifugal pump flanged sleeve inside surface flow prevention

A centrifugal electric submersible pump (ESP). The centrifugal ESP comprises a rotatable shaft, a series of impellers stacked on the rotatable shaft, each impeller comprising a hub secured to the rotatable shaft by a key, the series of impellers comprising an uppermost impeller and a lowermost impeller, a flanged sleeve keyed to the rotatable shaft below the lowermost impeller, and a seal disposed between the lowermost impeller and the flanged sleeve.

The second side of the lateral wall may be opposite the first side of the lateral wall, such that the fins are on opposite sides of the lateral wall. The pump cartridge may be part of a pumping system further comprised of a chassis comprising a pump basin including an interior side wall, a first tab extending inwardly from the interior side wall, and a second tab extending inwardly from the interior side wall and opposed to the first tab. The first fin of the cartridge is reversibly engageable with the first tab of the chassis and the second fin of the cartridge is reversibly engageable with the second tab of the chassis.
