NATURAL FIBER FELT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A natural fiber felt is provided, which is a film formed by processes of binding a natural fiber net with a binder, extruding, drying and shaping the natural fiber net. A surface of the film is coated with a waterproof layer. The foam binder is formed by combining modified starch serving as a binder and urea serving as a foaming agent with water. A water-repellent agent fruit wax emulsion is employed to form the waterproof layer. The natural fiber net is carded by a carding machine at one time, and the foam binder is sprayed onto the natural fiber net to bind the natural fiber net so as to form the film. The product has characteristics of ultra-thinness and high strength with good performances on heat preservation, moisturizing ability, waterproof and air permeability.
DEGRADABLE EXTRUDED NETTING MADE FROM POLYMER BLEND COMPOSITIONS
Degradable extruded nettings are provided. Degradable extruded nettings may include a plurality of interconnected strands, at least some of the strands being made from a polymeric blend, the polymeric blend including a polylactic acid polymer composition, polybutylene succinate, and a degradation additive, the degradation additive including a degrader in a carrier resin are provided. Grass sod and methods for preparing grass sod using such degradable extruded nettings are also provided.
Roof Runoff Water Control System
Roof runoff water control systems for a building with gutters and a downspout and buildings without gutters. Both systems employ a swale in the ground that is lined with rock filled bags that are opened and laid overlapped end-to-end. For the downspout, a closed bag filled with rock is placed under the downspout with open bags filled with rock laid overlapped end-to-end in the swale and overlapped downstream from the closed bag. For a building without gutters and having a drip line in the ground, open bags filled with rock are laid overlapped end-to-end in the swale. The swale and the open bags are aligned with the drip line.
TURF REINFORCEMENT MATS
Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of turf reinforcement mats that include spun yarns and/or multifilament yarns in either or both of the warp and weft directions.
Raised Bed Planter
A bed for planting in is disclosed. The bed includes panels for creating a frame. A liner, comprising a rip-resistant material, that fits within the frame and is attached thereto. Each panel includes spaces to access the liner. The material of the liner permits slits to be made in it without the slit expanding. Any slits made in the liner are located in the spaces within the panels. The liner is filled with grow medium. Plants are planted in the grow medium and grow out of the upper surface of the grow medium in the liner. Slits are placed in the liner, and plants are placed in the grow medium to grow through the slits. A method for creating a bed to plant in is also disclosed
Fertilizer and weed barrier
A plant food and weed barrier, comprising: a substrate formed by subjecting a cellulosic material to a plasma treatment, and a nutrient base printed on the substrate.
A SEEDMAT FOR GROWING PLANTS
A seedmat for growing plants, the seedmat comprises a biodegradable base layer, a seed layer and a biodegradable cover layer. The seed layer includes fertilizer granules or pellets that each have a coating, such as a polymer coating, that enables the pellets to absorb water and to slowly release that water, together with fertilizer.
BIODEGRADABLE COATING COMPOSITION FOR MULCHING PAPER AND MULCHING PAPER
Disclosed are a biodegradable coating composition for a mulching paper and a mulching paper. Out of these, the biodegradable coating composition for mulching paper to be coated on a surface of mulching paper comprises: spring water prepared by immersing a mineral substance powder that includes sericite powder and has a particle size distribution of 400 to 700 mesh in a container containing water for 10 to 20 days and thus dissolving a mineral component of a mineral substance in water at 45 to 72 parts by weight; charcoal powder having a particle size of 1,000 to 3,000 mesh at 3 to 8 parts by weight; calcium solution at 8 to 13 parts by weight; a filler including sulfur powder, illite powder, and expanded vermiculite powder at 5 to 15 parts by weight; starch at 5 to 8 parts by weight; and an additive at 10 to 20 parts by weight.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO IMPROVE PLANT GROWTH
A system and method to facilitate the growth of a plant in a building. The system includes a substrate that is substantially solid, an inflatable raft, or that has an upper member and a lower member with a space therebetween to establish an interior of the substrate. Either form of substrate includes one or more plant retainers and a set of one or more gaseous fluid delivery ports located regularly or irregularly throughout the substrate, including localized in a vicinity of each of the one or more plant retainers. The system further includes a climate delivery subsystem including a gaseous fluid source, a gaseous fluid delivery apparatus, such as a pump and one or more conduits in the substrate, wherein each of the one or more conduits is in communication with each set of the one or more gaseous fluid delivery ports for delivery of the gaseous fluid to an underside of the plant, wherein the one or more conduits are coupled to the gaseous fluid delivery apparatus.
Feeding Apparatuses and Methods for Plants
The invention provides components, structures, methods, and assemblies for applying feeding materials to plants. The invention may include a permeable structure constructed of a woven material incorporating nutrient-rich material (such as compost, fertilizers, soil amendments, soil supplements, or other material). The structure may be substantially closed around the edges and allow for the flow of water and other material therethrough to plants and surrounding vegetation.
