Pest Control Plant Container
The present invention is a flexible container to house a root ball of a plant and method of using the same. The container comprises a fabric sack, a securing ring and draw string. The fabric sack has an enclosed base and an open top that is folded over forming a narrow tubular aperture. The sack is made of a fabric having a mesh that inhibits or interferes with the life cycle of pests that infect or attempt to infect the root ball of the plant. The securing ring has a central aperture able to receive the stalk of the plant, an outer edge having a groove, an inner edge and an opening extending from the outer edge to the inner edge. The draw string is fitted through the narrow tubular aperture of the sack to enable the sack to be closed about the securing ring's outer edge groove.
Weed Barrier/Moisture Retention Cover for Bagged or Potted Plants
A weed barrier/moisture retention device for covering soil of a bagged or potted plant. The cover features a disc of flexible weed barrier fabric having an outside perimeter edge situated at a radial distance from a center point of said fabric. A slit the fabric emanates outwardly away from the center point and intersects with the outside perimeter edge. Matable fastening elements are secured to the fabric at slit-adjacent edge regions thereof, and are selectively fastenable to one another in order to cooperatively close off the slit. In use, the slit of the fabric is slipped around a stalk of a bagged or plotted plant from one side thereof, and the fastening elements are coupled together at an opposing side of the stalk, thus forming a closed loop that provides a full 360-degree span of soil coverage around the stalk.
TREE CULTIVATION DEVICE
A tree cultivation device having a hollow frustoconical body configured for receiving and enclosing a tree base therein. The frustoconical body including (i) a base of the device configured for positioning on a ground or potting surface adjacent to a tree base, (ii) a top end configured to receive a portion of a tree trunk therethrough; (iii) a plurality of troughs formed within an outer surface of the hollow frustoconical body that are positioned between the base and top end of the device; and (iv) an open and closable slit that continuously extends on the hollow frustoconical body from the top end of the device to the base so that a tree base may be received internally within the hollow frustoconical body of the device.

I-shaped tree skirt stand
The present disclosure, pertaining to the technical field of tree skirt stands, relates to an I-shaped tree skirt stand including a plurality of tree skirt units that are engaged with each other. The tree skirt stand unit is formed of an upper connection bar, a lower connection bar, and a vertical fixation bar. Upper and lower ends of the vertical fixation bar are respectively fixedly connected to middle portions of the upper connection bar and the lower connection bar. The upper connection bar, the vertical fixation bar, and the lower connection bar are arranged in an I shape. The tree skirt stand is simple in assembling, the volume of the tree skirt stand in a disassembled state is reduced, and transportation and storage are eased.
PLATE-SHAPED STRUCTURE, A RESERVOIR AND A METHOD
The invention relates to a plate-shaped structure for cultivating one or more plants. The plate-shaped structure (1) may optionally collect moisture from the atmosphere and comprises a generally flat upper surface (30) provided with a cavity (31, 32, 33) for holding plant material. The cavity has a sidewall (41, 42, 43) and a bottom portion (51, 52, 53). Further, the bottom portion includes an aperture. In use, the plate shaped structure can cover a reservoir (10) or can be placed on the soil. Optionally, the plate-shaped structure comprises a drain opening (35) with a floating cap and a covering cap so as to allow moisture to flow through the drain opening while minimizing evaporation. Further, the plate-shaped structure may have a cap structure (84) at its periphery for clampingly receiving the upwardly extending exterior sidewall of the reservoir. The plate-shaped structure can be fixed to the reservoir using protrusions (57 a-c, 58a-c) traversing corresponding openings.
DAYLIGHT REDIRECTING WINDOW FILM LAMINATES
A daylight redirecting window film formed by a flexible multi-layer film laminate with a total thickness of less than one millimeter and configured to be applied to an indoor-facing window surface of a building facade. The window film includes a pair of outer film substrates flanking a light redirecting core layer. The core layer includes a parallel array of channels defining total internal reflection (TIR) surfaces and linear optically transmissive structures protruding transversely thought the core layer and bonded to the outer film substrates. A light output surface of the outer film substrate which is disposed on an indoor-facing side of the laminate includes a two-dimensional pattern of light scattering microstructures which are configured to spread light at least in a plane that is perpendicular to the channels. The TIR surfaces intercept and reflect a portion of sunlight propagating through the core layer such that the window film redirects that portion of incident sunlight towards a plurality of divergent directions, forming relatively high bend angles.
MOWER PATH ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
A mower path assistance system to encircle an obstacle projecting from a ground surface, including a barrier mat formed with a barrier mat aperture enclosed by the barrier mat and having a barrier mat aperture diameter, a perimeter edge, and a barrier mat installation slit extending from the perimeter edge to the barrier mat aperture, wherein the barrier mat is deformable around the barrier mat installation slit to create a pathway having a pathway width through which the obstacle may pass from the perimeter to the barrier mat aperture. The barrier mat has a plurality of edges with axes that intersect at obtuse angles.
