Self-cleaning water passageways on diaphragm insert

A valve is disclosed a valving member positioned in an internal valving cavity and operable to control a flow of water therethrough. The valving member includes a diaphragm and an insert. A passageway through the diaphragm communicates with a bleed slot, preferably a tapered bleed slot, and a scallop of the insert. The scallop cooperates with the diaphragm to form a bleed holes when the valving member is in a closed position. The diaphragm and the insert at least partially separate when the valving member is opened to expose the bleed slot and scallop. The diaphragm rolls up to contact the insert when the valving member is closed to create a wiping action to flush any trapped debris from the bleed slot.

CONTROLLED FLOAT ON AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER FOR HEADER LEVELING

A header assembly for an agricultural harvesting machine comprises a first frame assembly, a second frame assembly that supports a cutter, and is movable relative to the first frame assembly, a float cylinder coupled between the first frame assembly and the second frame assembly, an accumulator, a controllable reservoir, and fluidic circuitry. The fluidic circuitry comprises a first conduit forming a first fluid path that provides a flow of pressurized fluid under pressure to the float cylinder, so the float cylinder exerts a float force on the second frame assembly, a valve mechanism that is actuatable to inhibit fluid flow along the first fluid path between the accumulator and the float cylinder, a second conduit forming a second fluid path fluidically coupled to the controllable reservoir, the controllable reservoir being controllable to add fluid to the float cylinder.

HYDRAULIC DAMPENING SYSTEM FOR A REAR GATE OF A ROUND BALER

A hydraulic system for operating a rear gate of a baler implement includes a hydraulic cylinder having a housing that defines an interior, and a piston that is moveably disposed within the interior of the housing. The housing includes a first fluid port and a second fluid port, each disposed in fluid communication with a first fluid volume of the hydraulic cylinder. A flow rate control valve is moveable between a first position for directing fluid to or from the first fluid port at a first flow rate, and a second position for directing fluid to or from the second fluid port at a second flow rate. The second flow rate is different than the first flow rate.

Valve system for pneumatic cylinders

A valve system for use with a cylinder having an extensible rod, includes first and second valve assemblies, each including an inlet/outlet port configured to selectively be coupled with a source of pressurized gas, a check valve biased toward a closed state and having a check valve body at least partially receivable within a first port of the cylinder, a flow control valve positioned in series between the inlet/outlet port and the check valve, and an inlet pilot port connected with the check valve for opening the check valve when supplied with pressurized gas. First and second pilot lines extend to the respective inlet pilot ports from respective outlet pilot ports of the opposite ones of the first and second valve assemblies. When pressurized gas is supplied to the inlet/outlet port of a valve assembly, pressurized gas is also supplied to the opposite inlet pilot port.

Safety valve for hydraulic or pneumatic tool

Provided is a safety valve (10) comprising a body (12) which defines an incoming fluid passage (14) and a return fluid passage (20). The incoming fluid passage (14) generally enables a fluid to pass from a fluid reservoir (18) through the body (12) to the tool head (16). The return fluid passage (20) generally enables a fluid to return from the tool head (16) through the body back to the fluid reservoir (18). The body (12) further comprises a diverter (22) which is displaceable between an active position and an inactive position. When the diverter (22) is in the active position, the diverter (22) redirects the fluid via a shunting passage (24) from the incoming fluid passage (14) to the return passage (20) to prevent operation of the tool head (16).

HYDRAULIC BRAKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20210229644 · 2021-07-29 ·

A braking system including a brake actuator, a control valve, a control assembly, and at least one pressure sensor. The control valve is disposed to direct hydraulic fluid to the brake actuator at a rate corresponding to a magnitude of a control signal. The control assembly includes a mixed-mode control system. The at least one pressure sensor is configured to measure a pressure of the hydraulic fluid to the brake actuator. The control assembly is configured to determine a position of the brake actuator. The mixed-mode control system is configured to determine a position command and a pressure command. The mixed-mode control system is configured to adjust the magnitude of the control signal based on at least one of the position command and the pressure command so as to reposition the brake actuator from a first position to a second position.

HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE TRANSMISSION
20210199188 · 2021-07-01 ·

The invention relates to a pressure oil filter system for a hydraulic transmission, in particular for a motor vehicle transmission, comprising at least one oil pump which can be actuated as required and which has a pressure side and a suction side, a pressure line to a consumer and at least a first oil filter which is arranged at the pressure side of the oil pump in the pressure line, wherein means for damping pressure surges during intermittent operation of the oil pump are provided in the pressure line upstream of the first oil filter in the flow direction of the oil.

Proportional control fluid actuator

A proportional control fluid actuator that is used as a positioning device in applications such as a hydraulic directional control valve. The activating device has a cylinder body attachable to a valve body and has a bore carrying a piston that is coaxially secured to an end of a valve spool. The device is provided with spaced openings in the cylinder body that communicate with the bore therein to introduce fluid to act on opposite sides of the piston. Factory pre-compressed spring means are provided for normally urging the piston and spool to a center position. Since the areas of the fluid pressure applied on both sides of the piston are different (due to a spool on one side of the piston), two pre-compressed springs are used to compensate the area difference to achieve a proportional movement of the spool.

VEHICLE DOOR POSITIONING HOLDER
20210123272 · 2021-04-29 ·

A vehicle door positioning holder includes a hydraulic cylinder connected to the door and a vehicle chassis, and a brake hydraulically connected in a loop. The cylinder pushes hydraulic fluid in the loop when the door is moved. The brake includes first and second chambers hydraulically connected to the loop and a third chamber connected in the loop at respective ends to the first and second chambers. The brake has a ball element in the third chamber when the hydraulic fluid is still, moved towards the first chamber as the hydraulic fluid flows in a first direction, and moved towards the second chamber as the hydraulic fluid flows in a second direction. A flow resistance of the hydraulic fluid is larger when the ball is positioned in the third chamber than when the ball is moved towards the first or the second chambers.
