The member to be detected (53b) is located below a lower edge portion (51a1) of the opening (51a).
Position detecting sensor of an actuator accomodated in a housing
A position detecting sensor is mounted in a sensor attachment groove formed in a cylinder device and having a wide portion and a narrow portion. Mounting members each include a mounting member main body positioned in the wide portion having a width dimension larger than a groove width of the narrow portion, and an extension extending from the mounting member main body and positioned in the narrow portion. The housing and the mounting members are connected by connecting bolts, whereby a portion of the cylinder device is retained between the housing and the mounting members.
MAGNETIC MEASUREMENT TARGET
A magnetic measurement target is configured to be positioned inside a vehicle axle and to cooperate with at least two magnetic movement sensors to measure deformation of the axle. The magnetic measurement target includes a body with a fastener end for fastening to one end of the axle and a main portion. The main portion includes a slot formed in an axial direction to separate two longitudinal portions of the body. Each longitudinal portion of the body presents a target surface for which movement can be measured by a magnetic movement sensor.
FLUID PRESSURE CYLINDER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A manufacturing method of a fluid pressure cylinder includes inserting the sensor rod into a hole extending in the piston rod, holding the sensor body with respect to the piston rod by using a holding member mounted on the piston rod, inserting the piston rod into the cylinder tube, and fixing the sensor body to the cylinder tube by fixing the holding member to the cylinder tube.
Operating cylinder device with at least one operating cylinder unit mechanical position safety and operating method
In order to secure a reached extension position of a piston rod (22, 22) of an in particular multi stage operating cylinder device (100) with at least one operating cylinder unit (50) not only through the operating pressure in the cylinder (1, 1) of the operating cylinder unit (50) but additionally mechanically, a mechanical safety through interlocking safety elements (4a, b) in the interior of the operating cylinder device (100) is provided which is activated exclusively by the operating pressure in the first pressure cavity and disengaged by a pressure in a second operating cavity.
SENSOR ATTACHMENT TOOL
A sensor attachment tool is provided with a rail-shaped sensor holder having a sensor insertion groove for accommodatably holding a position sensor so that the position of the position sensor can be adjusted, a band part linkable at both ends to the sensor holder and configured so as to be fitted over the outer peripheral surface of a cylinder tube along the peripheral direction, and a tightening mechanism for tightening the band part, the tightening mechanism being arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder tube in a different peripheral position than the sensor holder.
Internal position sensor
A piston actuator (10) includes a housing (12) having a hollow interior (12a) for enclosing a piston (14) defined by a head (14a) and a rod (14b). The piston (14) can reciprocate between first and second end limits of travel within the housing (12) and separates the housing (12) into first and second expandable fluid chambers (16a, 16b). The housing (12) has a rod-end opening (12b) at one end and a head-end opening (12c) at an opposite end. The piston (14) can include a longitudinally extending aperture (14c) formed therein with an open end (14d) facing the head-end opening (12c) of the housing (12). A magnet (18) can be supported by the piston (14) adjacent to the open end (14d) of the longitudinally extending aperture (14c) in the piston (14). A position sensor (20) can be supported by the housing (12) within the longitudinally extending aperture (14c) in the piston (14) adjacent to the magnet (18) for sensing the position of the piston (14) during movement between the first and second end limits of travel within the housing (12).
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS TO RETAIN IN-CYLINDER LINEAR POSITION SENSOR
A system, a method, and an apparatus to retain an in-cylinder linear position sensor in a cavity of a housing of a hydraulic cylinder assembly are described. The in-cylinder linear position sensor includes a sensor body that houses circuitry of the in-cylinder linear position sensor, and a sensor cap that extends from an upper surface of the sensor body. The sensor cap has a retention mechanism with a portion that extends radially outward relative to a central vertical axis of the sensor body so as to extend into and engage a wall of an access port of the housing to hold the in-cylinder linear position sensor in the cavity of the housing.
