Method for producing a foam body
A method for producing a foam body for a pressure or hydraulic accumulator has a bubble- or diaphragm-shaped, elastically flexible separating layer (12) separating gas and liquid chambers from each other within an accumulator housing. The production method includes introducing a flowable, preferably liquid, foam material into the pressure accumulator with the foam material being at least partially surrounded by the separating layer (12), curing the foam material in the hydraulic accumulator, and building up a pressure gradient in which the visibly curing foam material expands the separating layer (12) from an originally partially filled starting state in the direction of an end state in which the accumulator is finally filled with the cured foam (38).
CELLULAR TUBE FOR REPLACEMENT OF TRADITIONAL GAS-CHARGED CARTRIDGES IN SUCTION STABILIZERS
An annular tube (or other shape) of elastomeric cellular material comprising elastomeric closed cells having gas infused therein is supported by structures protruding from the bottom surface of a suction stabilizer's head and/or by structures within the interior volume of the annular body of the suction stabilizer, preferably with spacing between the outer diameter of the annular tube of the cellular material and the inner walls of the suction stabilizer body. The gas-infused closed cell material may thus be employed in new suction stabilizer or pulsation dampener or to retrofit existing suction stabilizers or pulsation dampeners designed for a gas-filled bladder.
ELECTROHYDRAULIC ACTUATOR
A modular electrohydraulic actuator including an electric motor, a hydraulic pump driven by the electric motor, and a hydraulic actuator in fluid communication with the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic actuator includes a hydraulic cylinder supporting a pressure sleeve in which a piston and rod is adapted for reciprocating motion in response to a supply of pressurized fluid to a first side or a second side of the piston, wherein at least one of the electric motor, hydraulic pump, hydraulic cylinder, piston, piston rod or the pressure sleeve supported in the hydraulic cylinder is selectively removable and replaceable with a different component to vary at least one performance characteristic of the electrohydraulic actuator.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FOAM BODY
A method for producing a foam body, in particular for a pressure accumulator, such as a hydraulic accumulator, the bubble- or diaphragm-shaped, elastically flexible separating layer (12) of which separates two media chambers from each other within the accumulator housing, in particular a gas working chamber from a liquid chamber (18), with at least the following production method steps: introducing a flowable, preferably liquid, foam material into the pressure accumulator, said foam material being at least partially surrounded by the separating layer (12), curing the foam material in the pressure accumulator, and in the processbuilding up a pressure gradient, in which the visibly curing foam material expands the separating layer (12) from an originally partially filled starting state in the direction of an end state, in which the accumulator is finally filled with the cured foam (38).
