In a hydraulic drive system of a work machine which drives a plurality of actuators using three or more pumps, for an operation not including traveling, a highly efficient combined operation in a front implement and excellent combined operability of a swing and the front implement are enabled, while for an operation including traveling, a highly efficient traveling operation and a highly efficient combined operation of traveling and the front implement are enabled, and a sufficient operation speed of the front implement is achieved. To this end, each of the flow rates of the first, second, and third pumps (101, 201, 301) can be controlled independently by performing the load sensing control, and in a combined operation for driving a boom (511) and an arm (512), ether one of them is driven by the first pump while the other one is driven by the second pump, and the swing is driven by the third pump. In the traveling operation, the maximum capacity of the first and second pumps is switched to the maximum capacity for the traveling operation and driven by an open center circuit. In a combined operation of traveling and the front implement, the front implement is driven by performing the load sensing control using the third pump.

The invention relates to a method for controlling the driving engine (M) and hydraulic pumps (PUMP1, PUMP2) of a hydraulic machine (10), the method comprising: driving at least one hydraulic variable displacement pump (PUMP1, PUMP2) that supplies pressurized medium to the hydraulic system of the machine by the driving engine (M), determining the working pressure pi, p2) and volume flow (Qip, Q2p) output from at least one hydraulic pump (PUMP1, PUMP2), determining the torque (T-ip, T2p) required of at least one hydraulic pump (PUMP1, PUMP2) or the total torque (Tpk0k) required by two or more hydraulic pumps (PUMP1, PUMP2) by means of the working pressure (p-i, p2) and volume flow (Qip, Q2p) of pressurized medium output from at least one hydraulic pump (PUMP1, PUMP2), as well as the rotation speed (i) of the driving engine (M); controlling the rotation speed (i) of the driving engine (M) and the displacement (V1p, V2p) of at least one hydraulic pump (PUMP1, PUMP2) automatically so that the torque (Td, Tdeff) produced by the driving engine approaches the torque (Tip, T2p) required by at least one hydraulic pump (PUMP1, PUMP2) driven by the driving engine (M), or the total torque (Tpk0k) of two or more hydraulic pumps (PUMP1, PUMP2) in such a way that the volume flow (Q1p, Q2p) produced by at least one hydraulic pump (PUMP1, PUMP2) will remain unchanged. The invention also relates to a system for controlling the driving engine (M) and hydraulic pumps (PUMP1, PUMP2) of a hydraulic machine (10), as well as a pile driving rig comprising the system according to the invention.

While a turning operation is being performed, if a discharge pressure of the first pump is higher than a first setting value and a discharge pressure of the second pump is lower than a second setting value, the controller lowers first and second horsepower control lines that restrict discharge flow rates of the first and second pumps.
Hydraulic control system and method
A hydraulic control system may include a closed loop hydraulic circuit with at least one hydraulic motor. A plurality of variable displacement pumps may be fluidly connected in parallel in the closed loop hydraulic circuit. A plurality of hydraulic actuators may be configured to adjust the displacement of the variable displacement pumps. A pilot valve assembly may be configured to supply the hydraulic actuators with hydraulic fluid having a pilot pressure corresponding to a desired displacement of the variable displacement pumps. A pressure regulating device may be configured to limit the pilot pressure of the hydraulic fluid supplied to the hydraulic actuators when a working pressure in the closed loop hydraulic circuit reaches a maximum allowable working pressure.

Provided is a construction machine capable of detecting a stuck-open state of a surplus flow control valve in real time during operation without involving a reduction in the operational speed. The construction machine is equipped with: a surplus flow control valve control section configured to output a closing command to a first surplus flow control valve at the operation start when an operation amount signal of an operation lever device is detected; a pump delivery control section configured to output a delivery flow rate command to an adjustment section of an open circuit pump; an assist valve control section configured to continue to output a closing command from before to an assist valve; a sticking detection determination section configured to compare a pressure signal with a previously set threshold value and determining that the surplus flow control valve is in a stuck-open state when the pressure signal is less than the threshold value and determining that the surplus flow control valve is normal when the pressure signal exceeds the threshold value; and a stop signal generating section configured to input therein a sticking determination signal, output in the case of a stuck-open state a control signal maintaining a closed state of the assist valve to the assist valve control section, and output in the case of a normal state a control signal causing the assist valve to perform an opening operation to the assist valve control section.

To cope with a variety of flow rate balance required of two actuators flexibly in combined operations driving two actuators of high maximum demanded flow rates at the same time while suppressing the wasteful energy consumption caused by the throttle pressure loss in a pressure compensating valve, the arrangement is such that when the demanded flow rate of a boom cylinder 3a is lower than a prescribed flow rate, the boom cylinder 3a is driven only by hydraulic fluid delivered from a single flow type main pump 202 and when the demanded flow rate of the boom cylinder 3a is higher than the prescribed flow rate, the hydraulic fluid delivered from the single flow type main pump 202 and hydraulic fluid delivered from a first delivery port 102a of a split flow type main pump 102 are merged together and the boom cylinder 3a is driven by the merged fluids. Further, when the demanded flow rate of an arm cylinder 3b is lower than a prescribed flow rate, the arm cylinder 3b is driven only by hydraulic fluid delivered from a second delivery port 102b of the split flow type main pump 102 and when the demanded flow rate of the arm cylinder 3b is higher than the prescribed flow rate, hydraulic fluid delivered from the first delivery port 102a and hydraulic fluid delivered from the second delivery port 102b are merged together and the arm cylinder 3b is driven by the merged fluids.

A hydraulic system of an excavator includes a work state determination unit and a valve control unit. When it is determined that a work state of working equipment is a heavy excavation state, the valve control unit controls a first boom operation valve, a first arm operation valve, a first bucket operation valve, a second boom operation valve, a second arm operation valve, and a second bucket operation valve such that passing of hydraulic oil from a first hydraulic pump to a boom cylinder is restricted, hydraulic oil is supplied from a second hydraulic pump to a boom cylinder, hydraulic oil is supplied from both the first hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic pump to an arm cylinder, and hydraulic oil is supplied from one or both of the first hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic pump to a bucket cylinder.

Provided is a hydraulic drive device that is provided in a work device and with which it is possible to obtain a high energy-saving effect with a low-cost configuration while being equipped with a plurality of hydraulic actuators. The hydraulic drive device is provided with: first and second actuator groups; closed circuits connected to hydraulic actuators included in the first actuator group; a pump section including closed circuit pumps; open circuits which include a plurality of variable throttle valves for changing the flow rate of working fluid supplied from a hydraulic pump included in the pump section to a hydraulic actuator; and circuit switching sections having a first state in which the closed circuits are opened and the opened circuits are blocked, and a second state in which the closed circuits are blocked and the open circuits are opened.

The object is to make it possible to efficiently utilize rated output torque of the prime mover by performing total torque control with high precision through precise detection of absorption torque of the other hydraulic pump by use of a purely hydraulic structure and feedback of the absorption torque to the one hydraulic pump's side. For this purpose, the hydraulic drive system is equipped with: a torque feedback circuit 112v which is supplied with delivery pressure of a main pump 202 and load sensing drive pressure, modifies the delivery pressure of the main pump 202 to achieve a characteristic simulating the absorption torque of the main pump 202, and outputs the modified pressure; and a torque feedback piston 112f which is supplied with output pressure of the torque feedback circuit and controls displacement of a main pump 102 so as to decrease the displacement of the main pump 102 and thereby decrease maximum torque T12max as the output pressure increases. The torque feedback circuit 112v includes first and second variable pressure reducing valves 112g and 112q.
