COLUMN AND LEG LOCKING ASSEMBLIES FOR STATIONARY PLATFORMS
The disclosure relates to locking assemblies. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to locking assemblies for a center column of a stationary platform. In another embodiment, the disclosure relates to locking assemblies for legs of a stationary platform.
Curtain rod bracket and cam lock
A method and apparatus for a curtain rod bracket and cam lock. A tension rod assembly includes a tension rod, a first curtain rod bracket assembly, the first curtain rod bracket assembly including a first bracket base, a first bracket arm and a first friction pad, the first bracket base including a first bracket base front, a first bracket base rear and defining a first friction pad mounting opening that communicates the first bracket base front with the first bracket base rear, and a second curtain bracket assembly, the second curtain rod bracket assembly including a second bracket base, a second bracket arm and a second friction pad, the second bracket base including a second bracket base front, a second bracket base rear and defining a second friction pad mounting opening that communicates the second bracket base front with the second bracket base rear.
Tension rod and pivotable end caps for use therewith
A tension rod has end caps that are configured such that the end caps expand when downward pressure is applied to the rod whereby enhanced tension is generated resulting in the tension rod being securely attached to the support structure, such as opposing walls.
Locking adjustable length rod assembly
An adjustable rod assembly includes an elongate first tubular member having a first end and a second end. A cam body is secured to the first end of the first tubular member and has an oblong shaft portion. A collar is disposed about the cam body with an inner surface shaped to coincide with the oblong shaft portion. An elastomeric sleeve is disposed about the collar. An elongate second tubular member has a first end sized to receive the first end of the first tubular member within an internal cavity and engages the elastomeric sleeve. Rotation of the collar to a locked position causes a force from the elastomeric sleeve against an internal surface of the second tubular member to resist axial translation. At least one of the first tubular member second end and a second tubular member second end is adapted to engage a household surface.
Telescopic device and tripod having the telescopic device
A telescopic device including an outer pipe, an inner pipe fitted in the outer pipe, and a sleeve disposed between the outer pipe and the inner pipe. The telescopic device contains a lock mechanism, containing two bosses, and located between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. A tripod is also provided.
Telescoping assembly
A telescopic assembly, particularly suited to a tripod or monopod, having a plurality of telescopically arranged tube assemblies. Each tube assembly has a support tube, a locking assembly, and an actuating tube operatively engaged with, and slidably movable within, the locking assembly. The support tube telescopically receives a further locking assembly and an end of a corresponding further support tube of another of the plurality of support tubes and the actuating tube telescopically receives an end of a corresponding further actuating tube of another of the plurality of actuating tubes. Advantageously, all segments of the telescopic assembly can be unlocked, extended or retracted, and locked with a single actuator.
Telescopic waterproof tube structure
A telescopic waterproof tube structure includes at least two connection tubes nested with each other, and a locking structure for locking two adjacent connection tubes that are made of an inner tube sleeved inside an outer tube. The locking structure includes an inner reducing sleeve fixed on an end of the outer tube, an outer reducing sleeve adjustably connected to the inner reducing sleeve, and a locking assembly provided between the inner reducing sleeve and the end to be connected of the inner tube. The locking assembly moves axially towards the inner reducing sleeve under the action of the outer reducing sleeve to clamp the inner tube on said inner reducing sleeve. A first sealing structure is provided between the inner and outer reducing sleeves. An activity seal slot surrounding the inner tube forms between the outer reducing sleeve and the locking assembly and accommodates a second sealing structure therein.
Cam device and position adjustment device for steering wheel
Construction is achieved of a cam device that is able to effectively prevent a drive-side cam from rotating relative to a driven-side cam in a locked state. Tip-end butt sections 63 are provided on the outer-diameter side portions of tip-end surfaces 41a (40a) of convex sections of one of drive-side convex sections 34a of the drive-side cam surface 31a and driven-side convex sections 36a of the driven-side cam surface 32a, and tip-end concave sections 64 that are further recessed in the axial direction than the tip-end butt sections 63 are provided on the inner-diameter side portions of the one convex sections. In the locked state, only the tip-end butt sections 63 come in contact with the tip-end surfaces 40a (41a) of the other convex sections of the drive-side convex sections 34a and the driven-side convex section 36a.
