TELESCOPING POLE ASSEMBLY
A telescoping pole assembly includes first and second pole segments and a dampening assembly having a bushing, a gasket and a spigot. The first pole segment has a closed distal end and an open proximal end in which a distal end of the second pole segment is received. The bushing is attached to the distal end of the second pole segment, has a neck extending therebeyond. The gasket defines gasket opening and is shaped to fill an inner area of the first pole segment. The spigot extends from a gasket face towards the distal end of the second pole segment. In response to the pole segments moving towards each other, the neck contacts the gasket face and at least partially obstructs the gasket opening. In response to the pole segments moving away from each other, the neck is separated from the gasket face and does not obstruct the gasket opening.
Telescoping wand assembly for vacuum cleaner and method including same
A wand assembly for a vacuum cleaner includes a first wand, a second wand telescopically arranged with the first wand, and a rotatable locking cuff including first and second locking ramps. The first wand includes a first plurality of grooves arranged in a first row and a second plurality of grooves arranged in a second row, with each row extending in a longitudinal direction. The second wand includes first and second locking teeth integrally formed with the second wand and engageable with the respective first and second pluralities of grooves. Rotation of the locking cuff relative to the wands causes the first locking ramp to deflect the first locking tooth into engagement with one of the first plurality of grooves, and causes the second locking ramp to deflect the second locking tooth into engagement with one of the second plurality of grooves to fix a length of the wand assembly.
Telescopic tripod with linkage locking
A telescopic tripod with linkage locking is provided, which includes a support base, and three sets of first support tubes are hinged on the support base along a circumferential direction, wherein a sliding seat is slidably installed on the first support tube, a second support tube is fixedly installed on a lower side of the sliding seat, an installation seat is installed at a lower end of the second support tube, and a third support tube is slidably installed inside the installation seat. The sliding seat is provided with a first compression member controlled by a locking member, the installation seat is provided with a second compression member connected to the locking member through a first steel cable, and the second compression member is in contact with the third support tube. The telescopic tripod can realize a joint locking effect and make the operation more convenient.
