A set of panel-shaped elements includes a first panel-shaped element, a second panel-shaped element, and a third panel-shaped element. The first panel-shaped element includes at least one recess that extends through the first panel-shaped element from a first side to a second side. The second panel-shaped element includes a first profiled portion, which is configured to extend into the recess from the first side of the first panel-shaped element. The third panel-shaped element includes a second profiled portion, which is configured to extend into the recess from the second side of the first panel-shaped element and for locking engagement with the first profiled portion. The set of panel-shaped elements can be assembled using a method where the third element is moved into locking engagement with the first and second elements.

A female part is made as an oblong slot in the second furniture part with an insertion opening for introducing a male part. When coupling the first furniture part and the second furniture part to each other, the male part is brought from an insertion position in the insertion opening to an end position in the female part by moving the male part and the female part along each other. The male part is situated on a narrow end of the first furniture part and is positioned with its center line between the central plane of the first furniture part and the inner side of the first furniture part. An assembled product includes at least three elements arranged in three different planes. A first element is connected perpendicular to a second element, and a third element is connected perpendicular to the second element. The assembled product includes one or more locking devices, each comprising a flexible tongue arranged in an insertion groove one of the at least three elements. The flexible tongue cooperates with a tongue groove, at an adjacent one of the at least three elements, for locking the one element and the adjacent element together. A second edge of the second element is connected to a second edge of the third element by a first of said locking devices.

Building panels including a first and a second panel and including a locking device. The locking device includes a tongue and an edge groove provided in the second panel and the first panel, respectively, wherein the tongue and the edge groove are configured to cooperate with each other for locking a first edge portion of the first panel to a second edge portion of the second panel in a first direction. When coupling the first furniture part and the second furniture part to each other, the male part is brought from an insertion position in the insertion opening to an end position in the female part by moving the male part and the female part along each other. The male part is situated on a narrow end of the first furniture part and is positioned with its center line between the central plane of the first furniture part and the inner side of the first furniture part. The slot is realized in the inwardly directed flat side of the second furniture part.

Panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system including a separate and flexible tongue allowing connection with a snap action. An outer edge part of the separate flexible tongue includes a guiding protrusion for disassembly of the panels and that is deformed during locking and/or unlocking.

A composed element includes at least two panel-shaped elements, which each have an edge zone in which coupling means are present in a profiled part respectively extending in the longitudinal direction of the respective edge zone, and each including an end face extending transversely to the respective edge zone. The profiled parts allow the coupling of the panel-shaped elements together in an interlocking manner. At least one of the panel-shaped elements includes an arrangement which hides from view at least a portion of the profiled part formed at the pertaining edge zone at the location of the end face.
