ANCHOR ASSEMBLY FOR FASTENER
An anchor assembly for walls comprises a toggle member and a strap member pivotally mounted together, and a locking member. In a first position thereof, the toggle member is aligned with the strap member for insertion through the wall, whereas in a second position thereof, the toggle member extends behind the wall at an angle relative to the strap member which extends from the toggle member through the hole in the wall. The locking member is adapted to be displaced along the strap member until it engages the wall and to be locked on the strap member to prevent the locking member from displacing away from the toggle member. Therefore, the locking member and the toggle member are connected by the strap member and imprison the wall by abutting respectively the visible and hidden sides thereof. A fastener introduced through the locking member and the wall threadably engages an opening defined in the toggle member.
Temporary clamping fastener with expandable clamp blade
A temporary clamping fastener is disclosed, and includes a bushing having an inner cavity, an upper open end, and a lower open end. The temporary clamping fastener also includes a pull shaft having an elongated body and a slot extending through the elongated body. A portion of the pull shaft is disposed in the inner cavity of the bushing, and the pull shaft is configured to linearly translate relative to the bushing. The temporary clamping fastener also includes a clamp blade disposed within the slot of the pull shaft and rotatable between a stowed position where the clamp blade is housed within the slot and a deployed position and a portion of the clamp blade extends from the slot of the pull shaft to create an engagement surface for through-hole clamping.
Anchor assembly with toggle
An anchor assembly for wallboard installation includes a toggle body that is elongated along a toggle body axis, the toggle body including opposed first and second arms and a slot between the first and second arms. A toggle nut is elongated along a toggle nut axis, the toggle nut mounted in the slot of the toggle body for pivot between an install orientation seated in the slot and an anchoring orientation protruding from the slot.
Wall anchor
A wall anchor assembly with a sleeve and an anchor elastically coupled to the sleeve with an elastic member. Wherein, the elastic member defines a sleeve coupling portion that is substantially circular and couples the elastic member to the sleeve.
CLAMPING BLADE ANCHOR
Clamping anchors, kits, and related methods. The present anchors comprise a body with proximal base and distal blade configured to rotate relative to the base. The base defines a channel through which a screw or pin is advanced to apply force to a moment arm projection to rotate the blade and can also include a secondary moment arm offset longitudinally from the transverse line toward the distal end of blade. The moment arm(s) can be straight, curved, or angled surfaces that apply sufficient bending moment to rotate the blade up to 90 degrees or more relative to longitudinal axis. Kits comprise one or more anchors and a screw. The methods comprise inserting an anchor through substrate, advancing a screw through the channel so the distal end pushes the moment arm toward the distal end of anchor causing the blade to bend, at the transverse line, away from the longitudinal axis.
Substrate anchoring device
A fastener for attaching together layers of a substrate. The fastener includes a slide body, a bolt, a conical spring, and a toggle having a pivot coupled with one end of the slide body. The conical spring is disposed over a shaft of the bolt and the shaft is engaged within the slide body. The slide body and toggle are inserted into an aperture through the layers of substrate in a first configuration until the conical spring contacts a front face of the layers of substrate. Compression of the conical spring against the front face advances the toggle a clearance length out of the aperture on a back face of the layers of a substrate such that the toggle can switch to a second configuration that prevents retraction through the aperture. Extension of the conical spring automatically engages the toggle with the back face of the substrate to prevent rotation of the slide body within the aperture.
THREADED JOINT ARRANGEMENT
A threaded joint arrangement with visual and tactile indication of correct tightening force, includes a threaded fastener having a fastener shaft and a fastener head, a biasing member, a first object provided with a cavity in a reference surface with a bottom surface provided with a through hole, and a second object with a threaded hole. The through hole is aligned with the threaded hole and the fastener shaft extends through the through hole and is in threaded engagement with the threaded hole. The biasing member is arranged in the cavity between the fastener head and the bottom surface and is compressed between the fastener head and the bottom surface in response to rotation of the threaded fastener. An alignment surface is movable by rotation of the threaded fastener between a first position outside the cavity, a second position flush with the reference surface and a third position inside cavity.
Anchor assembly with toggle
An anchor assembly for wall installation includes a toggle body that is elongated along an axis, and a strap connected to and extending from the toggle body, wherein the strap includes a main segment that extends in a first direction away from an axis of the toggle body when the strap and toggle body are in an unstressed state, and the main segment is bendable down toward the toggle body such that the main segment extends in a second direction, where the second direction runs more closely to parallel with the axis than does the first direction. A locking sleeve mounted for movement along the strap toward the toggle body. The strap is substantially L-shaped and includes a small segment extending laterally relative to the main segment, wherein the small segment is seated within a recess on the toggle body.
FASTENER
A fastener which comprises a tubular member, a sleeve, a spring, a shank, and an elongate head. A lower end portion of the shank extends through the tubular member to threadedly engage a lower part. The elongate head rotates within a slot in the upper end of the shank between a first position extending longitudinally of the shank so that it can receive an upper part to be attached to the lower part and a second position extending radially of the shank to prevent removal of the upper part. The shank is received within the sleeve and has a pair of slots in its upper end which are alignable with the shank slot. The sleeve is biased to an upper position by the spring, which is in the tubular member. When the sleeve is in a position wherein it is biased upwardly, the sleeve partially covers the shank slot to prevent rotation of the elongate head between the first and second positions. The sleeve can be pushed downwardly against the force of the spring when the shank is sufficiently loosened to substantially uncover the shank slot thereby allowing rotation of the elongate head between the first and second positions.
WALL-MOUNTED WASHING MACHINE AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF
A fastener kit for mounting a washing machine to a wall having a block cavity. The washing machine includes a rear panel at the rear end of the housing. The fastener kit can affix the rear panel to an external wall. When the washing machine is mounted on the wall, a first end of the fastener kit is positioned inside a block cavity of the external wall through a fastening hole formed on the external wall. The second end of the fastener kit is coupled to the real panel. The fastener kit can support the washing machine on the wall against gravity through contact between the first end and an inner surface of the block cavity.
