Wall mounting assembly
Embodiments include a mounting assembly for securing a supported element to a wall structure having an internal thickness residing between opposing first and second sides of the wall structure. The assembly comprises a toggle anchor assembly configured to pass through a hole formed through the internal thickness; a washer configured for attachment to the hole adjacent to the first side of the wall structure, the washer comprising an open center configured to receive an extent of the toggle anchor assembly therethrough; an end assembly configured for coupling to an end portion of the toggle anchor assembly and for securing the toggle anchor assembly to the wall structure; and a receiving portion for securement of a strut assembly to the toggle anchor assembly, the strut assembly being coupled to the supported element.
Wall anchor for cart with recharging
The system includes a rail mountable to a wall, such as a wall along a hallway in a medical care environment. A cart movable along a floor adjacent to the wall is fitted with an anchor. The anchor is located at the rail, the anchor configured so that it releasably engages the rail, so that the cart can be secured to the rail when not in use. In at least some embodiments, a power source is located within the rail and a power coupler is provided on the cart which is adjacent to the power source in the rail and electrically coupled to the power source, for transmission of power from the power source in the rail to the cart, when of the anchor on the cart is attached to the rail. Thus, the cart is both anchored and recharged simultaneously in such embodiments.
FIXTURE SET
A fixture set for fixing an accessory to a wall includes a bolt; a splitter having a sleeve portion and a wedge portion; and an a metal anchor configured to be screwed to the bolt and having radially expandable arms configured to slide along surfaces of the wedge portion when the anchor is urged to slide in a first direction. The arms have a free end configured to lock the anchor against the wall upon radial expansion of the arms. The splitter has a catch situated entirely within minimum bounding cylinder of the sleeve portion. The free end of a respective arm is barbed and configured to be caught in the catch when the anchor is urged to slide in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, after having slid the anchor onto the splitter in the first direction with the barbed free end having passed the catch.
FASTENER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR OPERATION OF SAID ASSEMBLY
A fastener assembly is provided. The fastener assembly comprises, in one example, a sleeve in an enclosure, the sleeve including an interior threaded section and a sleeve opening with a periphery forming a closed shape. The fastener additionally includes a collet body at least partially enclosed within the sleeve, the collet body comprises at least one flexible leg including a foot mating with the sleeve opening, where the sleeve opening extends around the foot and a stud including a threaded section engaging the interior threaded section.
Metal channel anchor with enhanced holding strength
A longitudinal channel with increased holding strength, configured for use as an anchoring element for an anchor used in supporting objects on a substrate and a method for the production thereof and an anchor. The channel has a generally U-shaped axial cross section in at least a portion thereof with, the U-shaped cross section being comprised of longitudinal side walls and a longitudinal base connection between the side walls. The side walls have free edges configured for holding contact with the substrate. A portion of the free edges of the channel are covered with a planar continuous surface material which is co-extensive with non-covered free edges whereby the planar continuous surface material and the free edges provide a planar holding surface with greater surface area than that of the free edges alone for the increased holding strength.
Anchor holders and anchor assemblies for metal decks
An anchor holder for concrete decks comprises a body for being inserted into an opening in a metal deck, the body including an outside vertical wall and an opening for receiving an anchor. The body includes arms normally biased extending outwardly from the vertical wall, the arms being collapsible toward the body when the body is inserted into the opening in the metal deck and expanding outwardly after passing the opening to be disposed below the metal deck. A support is attached to the body, the support to engage a top surface of the metal deck to apply an upward force on the body and keep the collapsible arms engaged against an underside of the metal deck when the body is attached to the metal deck.
Anchor assembly
An anchor assembly (1) that has two hooks (2, 3) pivotably connected by a rotary shaft (4). A distal end of each hook has a tooth (21, 31) and the other end, a slot (22, 32). The assembly has an insertion configuration (P1) where hooks (2, 3) are superposed, and a securing configuration (P2) where teeth (21, 31) are separated whereby hooks (2, 3) project to remain retained in an inner support surface (51).
NVH pad for a vehicle
A vehicle NVH pad includes an outer pad, a support pad connected to the outer pad, and one or more inner pads pivotally connected to opposite sides of the support pad. The one or more inner pads may include a first inner pad pivotally connected to one side of the support pad through a first hinge connection and a second inner pad pivotally connected to an opposite side of the support pad through a second hinge connection.
DEVICE FOR SECURING A RUNG IN A CONCRETE WALL
A device has two anchor sleeves (3) in a concrete wall (2) accommodating two parallel anchor bolts (6) of a U-shaped step iron (1) form-fittingly. Between coupling parts formed by the anchor sleeves (3) and the anchor bolts (6), a detent assembly (7) has at least one detent tongue (8) sprung in the radial direction on one of the coupling parts (3, 6) and a detent recess (9) that receives the detent tongue (8) on the other coupling part (6, 3). A guide surface (15) for the detent tongue (8) is inclined in the peripheral direction and extends in the radial direction over the engagement depth of the detent tongue (8) adjoining the detent recess (9) at least in a peripheral direction.
BLIND FASTENER WITH INTEGRATED ANTI-ROTATION FEATURE, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Fasteners and related systems according to the invention include a collet body having a first part of a two part anti-rotation arrangement and a cylinder body having a second part of the two part anti-rotation arrangement wherein the collet body and the cylinder body are mateably axially translatable with respect to each other, and have the same or similar outer diameter in some embodiments or not in others. A threaded member rotationally engages the collet body and compressively contacts the cylinder body during operation of the fastener to creating a clamping effect. Rotational interference between the first and second parts of the anti-rotation arrangement preferably occurs at sectional face portions of at least the collet body. Resistance to induced rotation of the cylinder body relative to a work piece rotation of the threaded member is preferably provided by a tool engaging a tool interface present on the cylinder body.
