Blind rivet-nut and method for securing a component to a carrier
A blind rivet-nut having an annular-flange-like setting head and a hollow shaft for securing a blind rivet-nut in an opening of a carrier. The hollow shaft has a free end having a threaded portion for receiving a threaded element of a tensioning tool. A clamping portion adjacent to the setting head forms a bead-like deformation when the tensioning tool is used to clamp the carrier between the bead-like deformation and the setting head. A threadless shaft portion is formed between the clamping portion and the threaded portion. The threadless shaft portion is threaded by a thread self-rolling or thread self-tapping fastener. The fastener is received in a positive-locking manner when the fastener is screwed into the thread formed on the previously threadless shaft portion. A method is also disclosed for securing a component to a carrier by a blind rivet-nut.
Trapeze hanger system including twist-locking fitting
A twist-locking fitting for securing a strut to a rod includes first and second fitting pieces. Each fitting piece includes a half-nut portion having an interior surface defining an axis extending through first and second axial ends of the half-nut portion. Each fitting piece includes an outer flange extending outward from adjacent the first axial end of the half-nut portion and an inner flange extending outward from adjacent the second axial end of the half-nut portion. The inner flange is spaced axially apart from the outer flange to define a clearance gap. The fitting pieces are positionable on the strut in an unsecured position in which the fitting pieces are movable relative to one another. The fitting pieces are rotatable relative to the strut to move from the unsecured position to a secured position, in which the fitting pieces are fixed relative to one another on the strut.
CLAMP BOLT AND ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLY
A clamp bolt providing a bolt and two nut, each nut being screwed on an end of the bolt. The clamp bolt further including two washers, mounted around the bolt, and axially positioned between the two nuts.
CHANNEL FASTENER HAVING TAPERING SUPPORT BODY
A channel fastener for fastening an object to an elongate channel element having an elongate slot flanked by flanges includes an assembly of a rigid washer element, an oblong metal anchoring element and a support for the anchoring element, which support is connected to the washer element and carries the anchoring element. The support includes a head portion coupled to the washer element, a bottom portion supporting the anchoring element from below, and connecting legs, extend along a longitudinal side of the anchoring element from the head portion to the bottom portion. The head portion and the connecting legs of the support form a tapering width from the head portion towards the bottom portion of the support. At least the head portion at the location where it adjoins the legs has an initial width that exceeds the width of the longitudinal slot.
Fastener assembly for use with one or more workpieces
A fastener assembly for use with one or more workpieces. The fastener assembly can be a single-sided (i.e., blind) fastener assembly in which the fastener assembly is inaccessible from one side of the workpiece(s). In this regard, the workpiece(s) can make-up an enclosed component, for example. The fastener assembly can have a fastening end, such as a threaded stud, for securement with a distinct component that is otherwise detached from the fastener assembly. The workpiece(s) can be composed of a carbon fiber composite material, an aluminum material, or another type of material.
FIXING FOR A SPARE WHEEL
A fixing is provided for securing a spare wheel to a structure, for example a part of a vehicle, the fixing including a connector having a lug arranged such that rotation of the fixing relative to the structure moves the lug into a recess of the structure to secure the fixing to the structure; and wherein the connector further includes a resilient articulated arm arranged to act between the fixing and the structure to urge the lug into the recess when the fixing is connected to the structure.
WALL ANCHOR
A wall anchor (1), having an anchor plate (2) with a front face (3) and a rear face (4), a fixing portion (5) which protrudes from the front face (4) of the anchor plate (2), which extends along a centre axis (M) and has a threaded structure (6) for receiving an anchor bolt (7), and two hooks (8, 9) which protrude from the rear face (4) of the anchor plate (2). The hooks (8, 9) are configured such that the wall anchor (1) can be fixedly connected to a profile rail (18) by protrusions (21) of a profile rail (18), with respect to forces acting in the direction of the centre axis (M).

A multi-head bolt (10) having a bolt shaft (12) defining a longitudinal axis (14) of the multi-head bolt and a multi-head (16) disposed at a first end of the bolt shaft, the multi-head having at least three pawls (18), each pawl having a fixed radial orientation relative to the bolt shaft and having a primary plane being aligned with the longitudinal axis of the bolt shaft and having a support surface (20).
Bolt provided with an anti-rotation device
A bolt comprising a threaded shaft having at least one helical thread and at least one longitudinal groove, a nut having a tapped hole configured to be screwed onto the threaded shaft, and at least one diagonal slot which includes a first opening end and a second non-opening end. The diagonal slot is inclined from the first end towards the second end in the same direction as the helical thread of the threaded shaft. An anti-rotation device is configured to rotationally immobilize the nut with respect to the threaded shaft and comprises a ring which surrounds at least the threaded shaft and which has at least one first toe configured to be housed in the longitudinal groove of the threaded shaft and in the diagonal slot of the nut, in operation.
