A small animal habitat and a method for coupling an exercise wheel assembly to a small animal habitat. The small animal habitat includes a primary habitat portion, the primary habitat portion having a bottom portion, a central portion, and a top portion. The small animal habitat also includes an external hide structure coupled to the top portion of the primary habitat portion. An exercise wheel assembly is also provided, wherein the exercise wheel assembly is coupled to, and suspended from, the external hide structure. Additionally, a portion of the exercise wheel extends outside of the external hide structure.

A door assembly includes a frame having interconnected wires that define an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and a door having interconnected wires and being coupled to the frame. A latch assembly has a handle structure and a pin. The handle structure is pivotable with respect to one of the door and the frame, and the pin is movable axially with respect to one of the door and the frame. A first wire of the plurality of wires of the frame forms a key hole assembly. The key hole assembly defines an aperture for receiving the pin when the door is in a latched position with respect to the frame. A tab assembly is formed by at least one wire of the door and is disposable behind at least one of the plurality of wires of the frame in the closed position.

The present invention is a pet cage having an upper cage member and a lower base member. The lower base member has a bottom that is partially cut out. An exchangeable plate or tray is provided and adapted to engage with the opening in the bottom of the lower base member. When an exchangeable plate or tray with access points, such as through-holes, are used, the pet can graze on fresh grass in a safe environment. When an exchangeable plate or tray without access points are used, the cage is restored to a conventional cage with closed bottom surface.

A door assembly for an animal enclosure includes a door frame and a door each having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires. The door frame defines an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and the door is slidably coupled to the door frame such that it moves between an open position and a closed position relative to the door frame to allow egress and ingress through the opening. A catch member is coupled to the door frame. A latch includes a base member, a bolt, and a lever portion. A first vertical wire and a second vertical wire of the door are spaced from one another such that the first vertical wire is at a first end of the door and the second vertical wire is at a second end of the door. In the closed position, the bolt is coupled to the first vertical wire.

A modular frame expandable to form a pet's cage comprises a plurality of modules (20) each of which consists of a substantially quadrangular vertical wall, said modules being arranged adjacently to each other to define the outer shape of the cage, and wherein each vertical edge of each module comprises connecting elements adapted to allow the connection and retention of each vertical wall of a module to a vertical wall of another adjacent module. The modular frame is expandable on a horizontal plane according to a predetermined configuration to form a pet's cage having predetermined shape and dimensions.

A door assembly for an animal enclosure includes a door frame and a door each having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires. The door frame defines an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and the door is slidably coupled to the door frame such that it moves between an open position and a closed position relative to the door frame to allow egress and ingress through the opening. A catch member is coupled to the door frame. A latch includes a base member, a bolt, and a lever portion. A first vertical wire and a second vertical wire of the door are spaced from one another such that the first vertical wire is at a first end of the door and the second vertical wire is at a second end of the door. In the closed position, the bolt is coupled to the first vertical wire.

Disclosed is a pet cage, including a cage body having a cage opening and a door body for covering the cage opening. The cage body is provided with a rotating shaft at one end of the cage opening and a hanging bar at the other end of the cage opening, the hanging bar and the rotating shaft are oppositely disposed. The door body is provided with a rotation portion on one side and a hook portion on the other side, the rotation portion includes a rotation groove, the hook portion includes a hook groove opposite to the rotation groove. The rotating shaft is configured to be sheathed inside the rotation groove so that the rotation portion is rotatably connected to the rotating shaft, and the hook portion is hooked to the hanging bar. The depth of the rotation groove is greater than the depth of the hook groove.

The invention provides an animal house comprising an impermeable hollow-moulded structure 210 having at least one convex surface 219. The structure comprises a first flat surface 214 extending in a first direction and a second flat surface 213 extending in a second direction. The convex surface 219 connects the first flat surface 214 to the second flat surface 213. The structure 210 further comprises a rib 230 defining a sharp edge. The rib 320 is configured to be releasably attached proximate to or on the convex surface 219 such that the rib 230 diverts a liquid flowing over the convex surface 219 away from the structure 210. The invention also provides an impermeable hollow-moulded panel 810 with protruding ridges 800, 801 to prevent water ingress.
