The invention relates to a device (1) for use in collection and removal of slurry or similar from a sty, a sty comprising such a device and to a method of installing a device at a sty, such as a pig sty, wherein the device comprises an one-piece body (2) having one or more funnels (3) wherein each funnel comprises at least one upper opening (3a) having an upper horizontal area enclosed by an upper edge (3a′) and a lower opening (3b) having a lower horizontal area enclosed by a lower edge (3b′), wherein the upper horizontal area is larger than the lower horizontal area, and the inside (3′) of the funnel is thus extending from the upper opening to the lower opening of the funnel, an encapsulation (4) enclosing the funnel from the lower edge of the funnel to the upper edge of the funnel, such that a ventilation space (5) is defined within the one-piece body between the encapsulation and the funnel.

A brush device for brushing an animal, in particular the back, head and/or tail of the animal, such as a cow, includes a rotatable brush, as well as an electric drive motor, which is configured to supply a drive torque for rotatably driving the brush in at least one rotation direction. The drive torque supplied by the drive motor is set in such a manner that the brush can be turned back by means of muscular power of the animal and/or an individual counter to the driven rotation direction while said drive torque is being supplied by the drive motor.

A pet containment apparatus for a truck bed that connects to the corner bed anchors and contains an overhead connection for the pet(s) to allow for free movement of the pet(s) in the truck bed, while keeping the pet(s) from exiting the truck bed. The apparatus may be static or adjustable and allow for single or multiple pets to travel safely in the truck bed. The pet(s) will be tethered overhead to allow for free movement. In preferred embodiments, the various elements of the apparatus include a sturdy, metallic frame with adjustable connectors to fit various truck beds.

The inventive subject matter provides a device in which a pet stroller comprises at least three wheels, a battery, a motor, and a treadmill. The treadmill is positioned inside of the stroller and has a belt upon which an animal walk and run. The battery is configured to power the motor, and in at least some contemplated embodiments, movement of one or more of the wheels of the stroller can be used to directly move the belt of the treadmill, and/or indirectly power the belt by providing power to the battery.

A scraper for an endless and moving animal retention floor is provided with elevations from the base surface of the animal retention floor. The scraper is formed with elastic tongues, each one of which is fixed to a base part, which extend out from the base part and are terminated with a free end. The scraper is fitted in relation to the moving animal retention floor so that the free ends of the tongues connect both against the base surface of the animal retention floor and against the elevations thereof for a scraping function in the motion of the animal retention floor.

Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for supporting a pet along trapezii and behind a neck of a user. In one implementation, a core assembly of a bolster has a middle section disposed between a first end section and a second end section, and the middle section positionable behind the neck of the user. An elongated body of the core assembly is positionable along the trapezii of the user in a horizontal orientation. The elongated body extends continuously from the first end to the second end. A padded body of the core assembly extends about the elongated body. A cover is engaged to the core assembly. A securing assembly has a first strap connected to the first end section and a second strap connected to the second end section. The core assembly is releasably securable to the user in the horizontal orientation using the securing assembly.

A pet carrying backpack is disclosed herein. The pet carrying backpack includes a backpack body having a bottom panel, a front panel, a rear panel, a right-side panel, and a left-side panel that collectively form a pocket for a pet to sit in. Shoulder straps are connected to and extend from the front panel to allow a person to carry the pet carrying backpack on their torso. A protrusion extends from a top side of the rear panel that supports the upper body of a pet. A left and a right strap extend from such protrusion, each strap having a securing mechanism such as a buckle connected on one end. The left strap wraps over a pet's left shoulder, and the right strap wraps over a pet's right shoulder, both straps connecting to a set of receptacles of a securing mechanism located on or extended from the front panel.
