ROLLING BEARING
A rolling bearing includes: an outer ring including an outer ring raceway surface on an inner peripheral surface; an inner ring including an inner ring raceway surface on an outer peripheral surface; a plurality of rolling elements rotatably arranged between the outer ring raceway surface and the inner ring raceway surface; and a sealing member fixed to a seal mounting groove formed on an axial end portion of the outer ring by a retaining ring, the sealing member sealing an axial end portion of a bearing internal space between the outer ring and the inner ring. The sealing member includes a protruding portion at a radial outer end portion, and an outer diameter of the sealing member is larger than an outer diameter of the retaining ring in the seal mounting groove.
Double-row rolling-element bearing unit having preloading element
A double-row rolling-element bearing unit of a medical pump, preferably syringe pump, has a bearing core forming a first inner running surface for first rolling elements, which first inner running surface faces in an axial direction, and forms a second inner running surface for second rolling elements, which second inner running surface is arranged oppositely to the first inner running surface in the axial direction. The pump has a bearing bush, which can be mounted on a housing portion and forms a first outer running surface, which lies opposite the first inner running surface, and the pump has a bearing pan, which forms a second outer running surface, which lies opposite the second inner running surface. At least one preloading element couples the bearing pan to the bearing bush with a defined preload to join the double-row rolling-element bearing unit as a unit.
Motor assembly and manufacturing method thereof
A motor assembly includes a first bearing installed on a rotating shaft adjacent to an impeller to support a first support part of the rotating shaft, a second bearing installed on the rotating shaft adjacent to the rotor to support a second support part of the rotating shaft, a bearing bracket receiving the first and second bearings therein, an elastic member inserted between the first bearing and the bearing bracket or between the second bearing and the bearing bracket to press either the first bearing or the second bearing to get closer to each other, and a separation preventing member installed on the bearing bracket to fix the first bearing, the second bearing and the elastic member to an inner space of the bearing bracket such that at least one portion of the separation preventing member overlaps with one of the first bearing, the second bearing and the elastic member.
Dynamic axial preloading with flexure plate
A system for an unmanned aerial vehicle can include an altitude control system, which further includes a compressor assembly, a valve assembly, and an electronics assembly. The compressor assembly may include a driveshaft and a bearing assembly configured to rotate the driveshaft. The driveshaft may be formed from a first material and a compressor housing may be formed from a second material. The first and second materials may have different rates of thermal expansion. A dynamic preloading mechanism, such as a flexible plate, may be provided within the compressor assembly to exert a preloading force on the bearing assembly. Throughout the duration of the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle, the preloading mechanism can continually compensate for differences in rates of thermal expansion between the first and second materials throughout.
Anti-bounce print deck for flexographic printing press
A device and a method is disclosed to maintain plate and anilox mandrel position stability in print decks of a flexographic printing press. In one aspect, the mandrel bearings associated with at least one of the plate roll and the anilox roll are preloaded for the purpose of eliminating backlash and increasing the positional stiffness of the bearings, and thus the mandrel. In another aspect, the roll drive motor control system is enabled to provide a torque additive command the torque profile to maintain rotational consistency and otherwise overcome torque transients experienced by the motor during print bounce. Accordingly, the problem commonly referred to as print bounce and or print banding is alleviated.
Method of assembling a drive train having improved stiffness for an electric machine
A drive train for an electric machine is provided. The drive train includes a shaft. The shaft has a front end and a rear end and which is supported in a housing via a front bearing and a rear bearing, wherein the front bearing including a front bearing outer ring and a front bearing inner ring, and the rear bearing including a rear bearing outer ring and a rear bearing inner ring). The drive train includes a first cover mounted to the housing and being configured to seal a rear side of the front bearing, wherein the first cover is mounted to the housing by an auxiliary support which connects the first cover to the housing, a second cover mounted to the housing and being configured to seal a front side of the rear bearing, a third cover mounted to the housing and being configured to seal the rear bearing.
A BEARING MEMBER FOR SUPPORTING A ROTATABLE AXLE
A bearing member for supporting a rotatable axle includes a bearing housing; at least one bearing inserted into the bearing housing, wherein the bearing is configured to receive a rotatable shaft extending through the bearing; and a tilting member arranged around the bearing housing. The tilting member includes a pack of annular discs forming a through hole for receiving the bearing housing, wherein each of the annular discs includes a plurality of apertures extending through each of the discs and wherein the tilting member further includes a sleeve element provided in each of the apertures for holding the annular discs together as a stack and for receiving a fastener for attaching the tilting member to the bearing housing or said stationary machine element. The bearing member further includes at least one fastening element extending through a sleeve of the tilting member and attaching the tilting member to the bearing housing.
