The rotating hydraulic machine (102) comprises: —a housing (10), —a shaft (20) movably mounted relative to the housing about an axis, —an apron (24) rigidly connected to the shaft and extending around at least a portion of the housing, —a cam (12) rigidly connected to either the housing or the shaft, —a cylinder block (42) rotationally connected to the other of either the housing or the shaft, the cylinder block comprising pistons capable of engaging with the cam to produce a relative rotation between the shaft and the housing, —first and second guide bearings (28) each bearing directly on the housing and the apron, and —at least a third guide bearing (37) bearing directly on the housing and the cylinder block.
Sliding member
Disclosed herein is a sliding member, such as a sliding bearing, including a resin overlay layer having improved conformability. The sliding member includes a bearing alloy layer and a resin overlay layer formed on the bearing alloy layer, wherein the resin overlay layer includes a solid lubricant phase, a binder resin phase, and a cushion phase, and an area ratio of the cushion phase is 0.5% or more but 5.0% or less.
Half bearing and sliding bearing
A semi-cylindrical half bearing for a sliding bearing includes at least one axial groove formed on its inner circumferential surface that includes a smooth groove surface formed back away from the inner circumferential surface toward a radially outer side of the half bearing. The groove surface forms a convex curve toward the radially outer side in a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction of the half bearing, and forms a straight line extending in the axial direction in a cross-section parallel to the axial direction. The half bearing further includes a plurality of axial narrow grooves formed on the groove surface so as to be back away from the groove surface toward the radially outer side, that extend in the axial direction of the half bearing.
SLIDING MEMBER
A resin coating layer in a sliding member has a surface shape indicated by a shape line. This shape line is divided into recessed sections and protruding sections by an average line for uneven areas. The inclination R of a straight line connecting the bottom of these recessed sections and the peak of these protruding sections is classified into Ra: R<0.02, Rb: 0.02≦R≦0.04, and Rc: 0.04<R. The sliding member comprises a resin coating layer fulfilling Ra+Rb≧50%.
CONNECTING ROD FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An engine has a connecting rod with a big end dimensioned such that a lower face height is a function of an upper face height, a face-to-face width, and a strap height and width. First and second bearing shells are received by the big end under a specified clamp load to form a convex axial profile in response to the big end dimensions, and a crankshaft crank pin interfaces with the convex axial profile. A method of assembling a connecting rod includes inserting upper and lower bearing shells into a big end having a lower face height as a function of an upper face height, a face-to-face width, and a strap height and width, where each shell has a free state with a straight axial profile and uniform cross-section, and fastening a cap at a specified load to form a convex axial profile of the upper and lower bearing shells.
Bearing device for crankshaft of internal combustion engine
A bearing device, including a crankshaft, a pair of half bearings each having crush reliefs formed adjacent to both circumferential ends thereof, a bearing housing in which a retaining hole is formed for retaining the pair of half bearings, and one half thrust bearing having a semi-annular shape arranged adjacent to the retaining hole. The half thrust bearing includes thrust reliefs formed adjacent to both circumferential end portions of a sliding surface receiving an axial force of the crankshaft so that its wall thickness is made thinner toward the circumferential end surface, and a thrust relief length at an inner end portion of the thrust relief positioned on a rear side in the crankshaft rotational direction is formed to be larger than a thrust relief length at an inner end portion of the thrust relief positioned on a front side in the crankshaft rotational direction.
Adjustment drive for a steering column, and steering column for a motor vehicle
An adjustment drive for a steering column may include a drive unit having a threaded spindle that is supported in a gearbox housing at a bearing portion so as to be rotatable, with the threaded spindle including a threaded portion with a spindle thread that is axially adjoined to a shaft portion on which a gear wheel is arranged in a rotationally secure manner. The gear wheel meshes with a drive wheel that is coupled to a motor. Between the threaded portion and the gear wheel a peripheral bearing groove with a groove base may extend between groove flanks thereof. The bearing portion may be disposed in the bearing groove in a region of the groove base, and the bearing portion may be supported in a sliding manner in a bearing opening of a bearing plate that engages radially in the bearing groove.
BEARING APPARATUS OF CRANKSHAFT FOR INTERNAL COMBUSION ENGINE
The bearing apparatus 1 includes a crankshaft having multiple journals, main bearings supporting the crankshaft, and a bearing housing. The plurality of journals include a first journal with a lubricating oil passage and a second journal without a lubricating oil passage. The first and second journals are supported by first and second main bearings, respectively. The bearing housing is constituted by an Al-alloy upper housing and an Fe-alloy lower housing. The depth of the oil groove of the upper half bearing of the second main bearing at least in a ±45° region is equal to or smaller than a half of the depth of the oil groove of the upper half bearing of the first main bearing in the ±45° region.
Bearing with sliding radial components
A bearing including an annular substrate defining a first and a second opposite axial ends; and a plurality of sliding components attached to and extending radially from the annular substrate, each sliding component extending at least partially between the first and second opposite axial ends of the annular substrate. A head restraint assembly including a head restraint having a body and a first and second post extending from the body; a first guide sleeve having a first bearing for receiving the first post; and a second guide sleeve having a second bearing for receiving the second post.
