ROLLING BEARING
A rolling bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, rolling elements, and a retainer that holds the rolling elements. The retainer includes a metal portion and a sliding resin portion The metal portion has communication holes each having a plurality of openings on the surface of the metal portion, and the sliding resin portion is disposed in the communication holes.
ROLLING BEARING AND WIND POWER GENERATION ROTOR SHAFT SUPPORT DEVICE
To provide a rolling bearing having a hard film on an inner ring raceway surface and an outer ring raceway surface of the rolling bearing that improves peeling resistance of the hard film, shows the original property of the hard film, and suppresses the attackability to a mating material. A rolling bearing 1 has an inner ring 2 having an inner ring raceway surface 2a on an outer circumference, an outer ring 3 having an outer ring raceway surface 3a on an inner circumference, and rolling elements 4 that roll between the inner ring raceway surface 2a and the outer ring raceway surface 3a. A hard film 8 includes a foundation layer formed directly on the inner ring raceway surface 2a or the outer ring raceway surface 3a and mainly formed of Cr and WC, a mixed layer having a gradient composition formed on the foundation layer and mainly formed of WC and DLC, and a surface layer formed on the mixed layer and mainly formed of DLC. In a roughness curve of a surface on which the foundation layer is formed, the arithmetical mean roughness Ra is 0.3 μm or less and the root mean square gradient RΔq is 0.05 or less.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Embodiments are directed to solid lubricant assemblies for providing over temperature protection for bearings and gears in rotorcraft systems. A solid lubricant enters a fluid state above a certain temperature and is positioned so that fluid lubricant is applied to the bearings or gears.
Large roller bearing
The invention relates to a large rolling bearing, more particularly an open-center large rolling bearing, comprising two concentric running rings, between which a plurality of rolling elements is provided in a bearing gap, which rolling elements roll on at least two raceways. More particularly, the bearing gap between the running rings and/or between at least one running ring and the rolling elements is at least partially filled with a solid lubricant, which comprises a polymer matrix and a lubricant embedded therein.
Needle roller bearing
Disclosed is a needle roller bearing, in particular for use in supporting a bottom roller in a spinning machine. The needle roller bearing includes an inner ring and an outer ring which are arranged such that the inner ring and the outer ring are rotatable relatively to each other around a bearing rotation axis. A rolling chamber is defined between the inner ring and the outer ring, in which a plurality of needle rollers are arranged. A solid lubricant is disposed in the rolling chamber of the needle roller bearing.
BEARING ELEMENT FOR A BEARING UNIT, AND BEARING UNIT WITH AN INCREASED LIFE
A bearing element of a bearing unit includes a substrate, a first coating on the substrate and a second coating on the first coating. The first coating is configured to increase a wear resistance of the substrate and includes a first solid lubricant, and the second coating is softer than the first coating and includes a second solid lubricant. The solid lubricants of the first and second coatings may be MoS.sub.2, and the first coating may include between 3 and 30 at % Ti.

Thermally Conductive Lubricant
A method of lubricating a bearing, a bearing, and a lubricant with high thermal conductivity including a base oil, a polymeric thickener, and thermally conductive powder particles. The lubricant is, at atmospheric pressure, liquid above a transition temperature and a gel below said transition temperature.
