An installation device for installing rollers in a shaft-hub connection includes a base ring having radially inwardly opening recesses configured to receive axial end portions of the rollers. The recesses extend axially and are distributed circumferentially, and the base ring including the received rollers is configured to be pushed onto a shaft. Also an installation method of installing the installation unit and rollers between a shaft and a hub.

REMANUFACTURED PINION SHAFT AND METHOD OF MAKING

A remanufactured pinion shaft includes a salvage member secured to a replacement member. The salvage member may be formed from a damaged pinion shaft and includes first gear teeth proximate a first axial end and a first alignment member proximate a second axial end. The replacement member includes second gear teeth proximate a first axial end and a second alignment member proximate a second axial end. The first alignment member and the second alignment member cooperate to transmit rotational motion between the first salvage member and the replacement member and/or align the salvage member relative to the replacement member.

Fluidic valve unit and method for operating a fluidic valve unit

A fluidic valve unit having a plurality of rotary slide valves arranged in series and a servo motor for setting the rotary slide valves, wherein each of the rotary slide valves comprises a rotary slide arranged in a rotary slide housing and drivable via a driveshaft by means of the servo motor. It is provided in this case that each two successive ones of the rotary slide valves are mechanically connected to one another via a driver device for the setting by means of the servo motor, wherein the driver device comprises a driver projection arranged on a first of the two rotary slide valves.

Head shaft assembly and related method

A head shaft assembly has a center tube, an end tube, a collector sprocket and a collar. The center tube has drive and driven ends. The center tube has a center tube diameter. The end tube has a key extending longitudinally along an outer surface and inner and outer ends. The key defines a key length and the end tube has an end tube diameter. The collector sprocket is mountable to the end tube and rotationally secured to the end tube by the key. The collar is hollow between a first end and a second end. The center tube diameter is substantially the same as the end tube diameter and the drive end is proximate to the inner end. The drive end and the inner end are positioned within the collar between the first end and the second end. The collar fixes the center tube to the end tube.

HYBRID MODULE

A rotor assembly for a hybrid module includes a rotor carrier, a rotor segment, an end ring, a first spacer, a second spacer, and a compressed spring. The rotor carrier includes a first outer cylindrical surface and a radial surface, and the rotor segment is installed on the first outer cylindrical surface. The end ring is fixed to the rotor carrier and arranged for fixing to an engine flexplate. The first spacer is disposed axially between the rotor segment and the radial surface, and the second spacer is disposed axially between the rotor segment and the end ring. The compressed spring is disposed axially between the end ring and the second spacer to press the first spacer, the second spacer, and the rotor segment against the radial surface for frictional torque transmission between the rotor segment and the rotor carrier.

Adjustable rigid spacer coupling

Technologies are described for devices and methods for adjusting a position of impellers within a bowl assembly. The devices may comprise an adjuster at the second end of a spacer coupling. The adjuster may include an adjuster sleeve. The adjuster sleeve may be a cylindrical sleeve. The adjuster sleeve may be threaded on an internal side. The adjuster sleeve may be spaced from the driven hub so that the adjuster sleeve can rotate around a driven shaft. The adjuster sleeve may threadedly mate and engage with an externally threaded first end of the driven shaft when the adjuster sleeve is rotated. The rotation of the adjuster sleeve may adjust a position of the driven shaft with respect to the driven hub and may thereby adjust a position of an impeller attached to a second end of the driven shaft with respect to a stationary bowl.
