DISC BRAKE CALIPER BODY
A caliper body having first and second braking surfaces, a bracket connecting to a caliper support provided in a vehicle and a floating element supported by the bracket to move along the axial direction. The floating element has a first floating element portion facing the first braking surface. The first floating element portion has a biasing device housing to accommodate a biasing device. The floating element has a first floating element bridge protruding straddling the brake disc and a plate-shaped portion extending on a plane along circumferential and radial directions. The plate-shaped portion has end portions protruding from opposite sides with respect to the first floating element bridge, a second inner plate-shape portion side facing the biasing device, two plate-shaped portion projections protruding from the plate-shaped portion side and having thrust surfaces biasing a second pad against the second braking surface and forming with the plate-shaped portion a ventilation channel.
Disc brake
A disc brake includes: an inner pad and an outer pad; a pressing device configured to press the inner pad and the outer pad against a rotor, the pressing device including a first presser member and a second presser member that are movable parallel to a rotational axis of the rotor, and a frame that is a frame-shaped rigid body and is movable in the direction parallel to the rotational axis; and a housing mounted on a non-rotating body, the housing holding the pressing device, the housing including a pad pin that hold the inner pad and the outer pad so as to be movable in the direction parallel to the rotational axis, the pad pin being held by the housing at both ends of the pad pin in the direction parallel to the rotational axis.
Hydraulic operating device
A hydraulic operating device comprises a base member, an operating member, a piston, and a mounting member. The base member includes a cylinder bore, a first hose-attachment hole, and a second hose-attachment hole. The first hose-attachment hole is configured to be in fluid communication with the cylinder bore. The second hose-attachment hole is configured to be in fluid communication with the cylinder bore. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base member about a pivot axis. The mounting member is configured to couple the base member to a handlebar. The mounting member includes a mount opening through which the handlebar is to extend. The first hose-attachment hole, the second hose-attachment hole, and the mount opening are provided on a reference plane perpendicular to the pivot axis.
