UNIVERSAL CABLE ATTACHMENT
The present disclosure is directed to examples of universal cable attachments for securing a cable in a secured position. The universal cable attachments utilize a pair of counter-rotating lobes or one lobe and a counter surface to clamp against the cable. The lobes are configured such that they can accept a variety of cable diameters, thus eliminating the need for the provision of multiple sizes of unique cable attachments in certain applications. The lobes are configured such that they provide little or no resistance to a cable being inserted in an insertion direction and such that they lock against the cable when the cable is pulled in the opposite direction. In one example, the lobes have eccentrically oriented tapered channels to accomplish the clamping function. In another example, the lobes include a plurality of differently sized plates to accomplish the clamping function.
Cord coupling system
A cord coupling system is provided. The cord coupling system includes a housing with a first half, a second half, a top surface, an opposed bottom surface, a front surface, and a rear surface. The housing includes a set of channels. The set of channels have a pair of rotatable jaws partially disposed therein and a pair of gates are adjacent to the pair of rotatable jaws. The pair of rotatable jaws and the pair of gates rotate between a first position and a second position.
Cord lock
A cord lock has a housing with an interior cavity and an opening extending between the front and the back for receiving a cord, and an actuator having two legs that are configured to slide within the interior cavity of the housing. A spring is disposed between the housing and the actuator to bias the actuator in a raised position relative to the housing. There is a cam disposed in the interior cavity of the housing. The bottom of the cam is rotatably connected to the housing and the top is rotatably connected to the legs of the actuator. In a resting position, the spring presses the top of the cam against the housing such that when a cord is extended through the opening, the cam locks the cord in place between the cam and the housing. Depressing the actuator compresses the spring and rotates the cam.
Adjustable bungee fastener
The bungee fastener has a tapered chute that accepts a locking slider. A channel forms an opening in a side of the body thereby allowing passage of the slider through the channel. A plurality of slider teeth along a portion of the slider within the tapered chute may lock onto a bungee when the slider is slid into a locked position. The slider moves along the channel, thereby selectively narrowing the tapered chute with the slider teeth as the slider is slid into the locked position and enlarging the tapered chute as the slider is slid into the unlocked position. The bungee fastener may include a single slider or a plurality of sliders.
CINCHING DEVICE
A device including a cinching wedge implement, a housing implement having a diagonal wedge block, a cinching wedge slot disposed on a proximate opposite side of the diagonal wedge block which the cinching wedge implement generally travels on; a plurality of teeth are configured to significantly secure the cinching wedge implement; a plurality of graduating notches configured to lock a cord or rope; a button implement configured to hold the cinching wedge implement in place, in which the button implement comprises at least a locking tab that is configured to engage at least one of said plurality of opposing teeth; and a stop notch configured to engage the locking tab, and wherein the stop notch is further configured to lock the cinching wedge implement in an open position inside the housing implement.
Cord lock
A cord lock includes a female member having a first opening, a second opening, and an insertion passage for a string; and a male member entering one portion into the insertion passage from the first opening, and having, at the one portion, a male-side fastening portion to be fastened to the string inserted to pass through the insertion passage in cooperation with a female-side fastening portion formed inside the insertion passage. Fastening relative to the string is released by a pulling operation of reducing an entering amount of one portion of the male member into the insertion passage relative to the female member by gripping the string pulled out of the first opening, and by a pulling operation of reducing an entering amount of one portion of the male member into the insertion passage relative to the male member by gripping the string pulled out of the second opening.
QUICK LACING SYSTEM AND SHOE EQUIPPED WITH SAME
The invention relates to a quick lacing system (10) for releasably fixing at least one shoelace (20) to a housing (30), which has a channel (40) for feeding through at least one shoelace (20), wherein the channel (40) is at least partly made of a movably mounted rocker (50) with a substantially concave interior (60), which is oriented in the direction of the channel (40), on a first side and at least partly of an eccentric jaw (70), which interacts with the rocker (50) at least in a closed position of the quick lacing system (10), on a second side substantially opposite the rocker. The invention also relates to a shoe equipped with such a quick lacing system (10).
ADAPTER FOR MOUNTING CABLE HANGERS
An adapter for a cable hanger includes: a housing having a floor, a vertical wall extending generally perpendicularly from the floor, and side walls extending generally perpendicularly from the floor and vertical wall, each of the side walls including a finger extending generally parallel to the floor, the fingers including first engagement features, the vertical wall including a mounting hole; and a plunger having a main panel and second engagement features on opposite sides of the main panel, the second engagement features configured to engage the first engagement features to restrict relative movement of the plunger relative to the housing.
Length adjusting devices and method of using the same
A length adjusting device includes: a body having sides extending in spaced relation to one another, the sides defining respective planes; a first cam operably assembled in relation to the body and having a first proximal cam end positioned between the sides; a second cam operably assembled in relation to the body and having a second proximal cam end positioned between the sides and adjacent to the first proximal cam end; an axle that rotatably attaches the second cam to the body; a channel formed by a space between the cam ends; a handle attached to the body and rotatable from a first position to a second position about a rotation point upon application of a first force; wherein the body is configured to rotate with respect to the second cam to expand the size of the channel upon the application of the first force exerted on the handle.
Cord lock
A pressing portion is housed movably in a front-and-back direction inside a main member portion. In the main member portion, two main-member-portion holes through which a string member passes are formed on a side wall forming an opening portion. The pressing portion includes a pressing face on a front face, and internally provides a pressing-portion string insertion portion which can communicate with the two main-member-portion holes and through which the string member passes. A bend insertion portion for inserting the string member to pass through by bending the string member inside the pressing portion is provided. An urging device for urging the pressing portion is provided at a position wrapping a virtual three-dimensional shape obtained by connecting, with straight lines, two imaginary faces on which an inner face of the side wall and an outer shape of the string member passing through the two main-member-portion holes intersect.
