The present invention relates to an equidirectional transfer universal transmission formed by connecting an equidirectional transfer case, a commutator, and an actuator. One of five types of planetary gear trains is used for the equidirectional transfer case, the component corresponding to a term having a maximum absolute value of a coefficient in a motion characteristic equation is used as an input end, and the other two components are respectively used as an inner output end and an outer output end. The commutator includes fourth types of quill shaft commutators and a non-quill shaft commutator, which are set by respective methods. One of two types of single-layer planetary gear trains is used for the actuator. The present invention includes methods for setting respective components of the equidirectional transfer case and the actuator, and includes a connection method. According to the present invention, an output shaft is controlled to revolve around an actuator shaft by inputting a revolving speed, a forward moment and a reverse moment are balanced during revolving, the output shaft has no unidirectional bearing moment, and a revolving control device has a simple structure.

A downsized torque vectoring device in which a passive rotation of an actuator is prevented. The torque vectoring device comprises: a differential mechanism that allows a differential rotation between a first rotary shaft and second rotary shaft; an actuator that applies torque to the differential mechanism to rotate the rotary shafts at different speeds; and a reversing mechanism that allows the rotary shafts to rotate in opposite directions. The reversing mechanism comprises a first control gear set and the second rotary shaft arranged coaxially around the rotary shafts, and gear ratios of the first control gear set and the second control gear set are set to different values. A speed increasing gear set and a speed reducing gear set are arranged between a prime mover and an output shaft of the actuator, and ring gears of the speed increasing gear set and the speed reducing gear set are connected to each other.

A gear unit includes an input shaft, output shafts and a differential having two planetary gearsets with a plurality of gearset elements. A first gearset element is connected to the input shaft, a second gearset element is connected to the first output shaft, and a third gearset element is connected to a gearset element of the second planetary gearset. A second gearset element of the second planetary gearset is connected to a housing, and a third gearset element of the second planetary gearset is connected to the second output shaft. A first output torque transmittable to the first output shaft. The gearset elements of the first planetary gearset and second planetary gearset have a helical toothing such that a torque is transmittable between the two output shafts.

Planetary differential drive system

A differential drive system includes an electric motor for generating an electric motor torque and an input planetary gear-set operatively connected to the electric motor to receive the electric motor torque. The input planetary gear-set has first, second, and third members. The first member receives the electric motor torque, the second member provides a first input torque in a first rotational direction in response to the electric motor torque, and the third member provides a second input torque in a second rotational direction, opposite the first direction, in response to the electric motor torque. The system also includes a first output gear-set operatively connected to the input planetary gear-set, and providing a first output torque in response to the first input torque. The system additionally includes a second output gear-set operatively connected to the input planetary gear-set and providing a second output torque in response to the second input torque.
