Dual action lethal containers, systems, methods and compositions for killing adult mosquitos and larvae

Dual action lethal containers, systems, methods, compositions and formulas used to kill mosquitoes and their larvae. The containers can have separate interior larvicidal and adulticidal coatings separated from each other by horizontal water line holes in the container. Another container can use a novel combined coating of a larvicidal and adulticidal coating. Unique compositions of adulticidal coatings, larvicidal coatings and combined adulticidal and larvicidal coatings can be used as liners.

INSECT BAIT

An insect bait that can be carried by the insect, that includes a toxicant capable of killing insects in a nest, and that includes attractants, having at least one non-toxic layer that delays contact with the toxicant, wherein the size, shape and attractants attract the insect to take the whole of the bait to a nest situation where further manipulation of the bait by the insect will release the toxicant.

Dipterous Insect Attracting Device And Trap Using Said Device

The present invention provides a dipterous insect attracting device comprising a container, a wick coupleable to the container configured to diffuse an attractant composition arranged in the container by capillarity, and a cap coupled to the container closing same, the cap being configured to collapse or swell; wherein the attracting device is configured to be arranged in an activated position suitable for diffusing the attractant composition through the wick and to be arranged in a deactivated position in which the attractant composition is not diffused through the wick, wherein the cap is configured to collapse or swell as the attractant composition is diffused through the wick. A trap for capturing dipterous insects using the dipterous insect attracting device is also provided. Furthermore, an attractant composition indicated for attracting dipterous insects is provided.

PEST CONTROL SYSTEM

In an aspect, a pest control system is provided. The pest control system includes a pest confinement chamber for receiving a pest attractant, and a chamber base for supporting the pest confinement chamber. The pest confinement chamber is provided with at least one pest aperture to permit entry of a target pest into the pest confinement chamber. The chamber base includes a housing body containing an illumination assembly for illuminating the pest confinement chamber.

Compositions for effective fly population suppression
09877487 · 2018-01-30 · ·

Provided herein are systems, devices, methods, and compositions for suppressing a population of certain species of insects such as flies. Compositions comprising an anaerobically fermented biomass, a dye and a particulate matter, are disclosed, some of which are selective in attracting a harmful insect, and are biodegradable, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Systems and methods for use of the compositions are described herein.

INSECTICIDE DISPENSING DEVICE AND METHOD
20180014526 · 2018-01-18 ·

Insecticide dispensing devices and methods of the present technology provide for the prolonged release of insecticide for the eradication of insect populations. Insecticide dispensing devices include an attractive toxic sugar bait, and have a housing configured with at least one aperture to allow a gaseous compound to exit the internal cavity and sized to allow entry of a target insect into the internal cavity. Methods of insecticide dispensing include activating the attractive toxic sugar bait in the device, and placing the activated device in an area where insects are present.

Pest control apparatus and process of manufacture

An environmentally friendly apparatus to attract and kill insect pests is described. The apparatus includes two panels, which could be made from one folded sheet, coupled together to form a housing for a pad containing an insect attractant, e.g. a pheromone. The outer surface of the housing has a plurality of louvered vents for dispersion of the scent from the attractant to the environment thus attracting the insect pest. The apparatus is configured to be capable of being on a fruit tree.

Insect bait station method and apparatus

The insect bait station comprises an outer shell covered with a toxicant-infused wax coating, and an insect lure disposed within the outer shell. Insects are drawn to the bait station by the insect lure (preferably a fruit fly lure). When the insects land on the bait station they are killed by the toxicant within the bait station wax coating.

FLYING INSECT ATTRACTION STATION
20240423186 · 2024-12-26 ·

A flying insect station for attracting and killing insects on the exterior and interior of a structure is disclosed. The flying insect station includes features for attracting and killing files within a shortened window of time, preferably within one hour. The station includes in one aspect a surface being substantially dark in color and substantially reflective in nature to provide a facade of an opening. Suppression means such as a pesticide is included on one or more of the surfaces of the station for killing flying insects staging on the surface(s). An attractant may be used to provide a plume of attractant around surfaces of the housing to attract and lure flying insects to stage about a reflective surface.

Insect attractant and killing system

Described herein are systems and methods for attracting insects to a trap or surface containing insecticide. One embodiment described herein is an insect attractant releasing system comprising a quantity of a volatile insect attractant where the attractant is released at a defined rate and has a particular product lifetime under field conditions. In another embodiment, the attractant releasing system is integrated into an apparatus having insecticide immobilized on one or more surfaces where attracted insects can crawl or land and contact the insecticide, which subsequently kills the insects.
