Autonomous spraying platform

An autonomous spraying platform is provided. The autonomous spraying platform has a main frame platform supported by a first and a second wheel in tandem. Supported by the main frame platform and extended perpendicular thereto are extended booms having multiple movable and/or telescoping arms which touch the ground on each side by small wheels for balance and sensing of the ground. Liquids, foams or powders, which may carry pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers or other pro-growth ingredients, may be dispensed across the bottom edge of the extended booms. The main frame platform may be controlled locally by sensors utilizing GPS (or other positioning technology) or remotely by a computer or even alive operator. The device may allow for real-time precise delivery of pro-growth materials to plants.

Control system and method for a suspended boom sprayer

A control system for a suspended boom sprayer of a vehicle comprises: first and second sensors each configured to be disposed on respective first and second boom wings of the suspended boom sprayer and to provide an output responsive to a rotation of the first and second wings caused by a disturbance torque; a processor, configured to determine a differential acceleration between the first and second wings based on the outputs of the respective sensors, and to determine the disturbance torque corresponding to the differential acceleration; and at least one actuator, controllable to move one or both of the first and second wings in order to counter the disturbance torque.

INTELLIGENT PESTICIDE SPRAYING ROBOT SELF-ADAPTIVE TO TERRAIN OF MOUNTAIN LAND

An intelligent pesticide spraying robot self-adaptive to terrain of mountain land is provided. Walking mechanisms are respectively connected to both side ends of a chassis. A pesticide spraying mechanism includes rotary drive mechanisms respectively connected to both sides of the rear end of the chassis, telescopic spray boom mechanisms correspondingly connected to the rotary drive mechanisms, rotary nozzle mechanisms correspondingly connected to the telescopic spray boom mechanisms, a liquid pesticide storage box fixed to the top of the chassis, a first water pump fixed in the liquid pesticide storage box, and first water pipes in communication with the first water pump and the rotary nozzle mechanisms. A control chip of a control identification mechanism is communicatively connected to the walking mechanisms, the rotary drive mechanisms, the telescopic spray boom mechanisms, the rotary nozzle mechanisms, the first water pump, a front-end camera, side-end cameras and ultrasonic sensors respectively.

This collection panel for an agricultural sprayer forms a hollow box comprising an air inlet opening and openings or pre-openings capable of receiving pulsed-air spraying assemblies.

Support for spreading boom of an agricultural sprayer

Spraying boom support for agricultural sprayers, whether trailed, self-propelled and/or airborne, which includes identical articulated arms arranged on either side of the sprayer. Said arms are extended transversely to the direction of advance of the sprayer, and are coupled in an articulated manner to a central support section of the chassis of said sprayer. Each articulated arm is comprised of bar sections formed by a composite material consisting of a reinforcing agent selected from carbon fiber, fiberglass, aramid fiber, boron fiber or a combination thereof, and a matrix of epoxy, vinyl ester, phenolic, polyester resins or thermoplastic material. At its ends, the bar sections have metal nodes that make up the joints and links, also fulfilling the role of taking the concentrated loads of them and distribute them in the bar sections of composite material. In this way areas of great thickness of composite material are avoided and the advantages of each material are exploited resulting in an economical, efficient, lightweight, low maintenance and easily repairable design.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING SPRAYING OPERATIONS WITH AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER

A method for performing spraying operations includes monitoring a field condition of a first swath based on data received from a sensor as an agricultural sprayer makes a first pass across a field, the sensor being associated with a first boom section assembly extending over the first swath during the first pass. The method further includes controlling a nozzle assembly as the sprayer makes a second pass across the field to perform a spraying operation along the first swath based on the monitored field condition of the first swath, the nozzle assembly being associated with a second boom section assembly extending over the first swath during the second pass. Additionally, the method includes monitoring a field condition of a second swath based on data received from the sensor as the sprayer makes the second pass across the field.

An agricultural tool bar has outer wings foldable between a lowered use or field position and a raised transport position. A primary pair of hydraulic cylinders fold and unfold the wings, while a secondary pair of hydraulic cylinders initially incline the wings from the horizontal use position before folding to the transport position. The secondary set of cylinders allow the tool bar to be used for narrow row planting without interference from seed boxes mounted on the toolbar center frame and the wings. The primary cylinders extend to push the wings to the transport position and retract to pull the wings to the use position.
