Safety valves for use at extremely high temperatures

A safety valve is configured for use at temperatures at or above 760° C. (1400° F.). The safety valve includes a closure assembly that can create a self-energizing, metal-to-metal seal. In one implementation, this closure assembly includes a disc with an arcuate finger that circumscribes an axis of fluid flow through a seat. The arcuate finger may extend inwardly toward this axis and downwardly toward the seat. This geometry permits the finger to flex in response to pressure of fluid that impinges on the downstream side of the disc, such flexure causing a first sealing surface on the disc to more forcefully contact a second sealing surface on a seat.

RELIEF VALVE

There is provided a relief valve capable of realizing miniaturization, weight reduction, and simplification of structure, and preventing vibration during operation. A relief valve for releasing a pressure by causing a valve body to separate from a valve seat when a pressure exceeding a set value is applied to the valve body, including an urging member that applies an urging force to the valve body to press-contact the valve body with the valve seat, the urging member being locked to a force receiving section fixedly formed in a middle portion in the axial direction of the valve body either integrally with or separately from the valve body and directly applies the urging force to the force receiving section.

Mechanical bypass of electronic valve body

A mechanical bypass for a shock assembly is disclosed herein. The assembly has a damper chamber having a compression portion and a rebound portion. There is further an external reservoir in fluid communication with the rebound portion of the damper chamber via a flow path. A valve is coupled with the flow path, the valve to meter a flow of the working fluid through the flow path. A bypass port to the external reservoir is provided in the flow path and bypasses the valve. A mechanical relief valve is provided in the bypass port to block a fluid flow though the bypass port until a blow-off pressure that is higher than a normal operating pressure and less than a burst pressure of the damping chamber is provided thereon.

Automatic deflator valves with vortex-like air flow with improved tire valve stem connection

An improved deflator valve is described herein. The deflator valve has a main body with one or more ports, one or more vents, or port or vent slots for introducing air into or relieving pressure from within the main body in a vortex, circular flow. The deflator valve also includes a piston having an O-ring disposed around an outer circumference of the piston. The O-ring of the piston and the ports and vents are effective for reducing noise and deflation time and improving accuracy and ease of adjusting a pressure setting. The deflator valve can further include a dual or variable rate spring that can achieve an extensive destination pressure range. The deflator valve can also include a threadless lead in, fewer valve stem threads, or a lock chuck for enhanced valve stem attachment methods.

A drainage valve comprising a through hole, a seat around the through hole, a shutter comprising an end face and movable in a longitudinal direction between a first position in which the end face of the shutter is away from the seat and a second position in which the end face of the shutter is pressed against the seat and blocks the through hole, and an elastic element configured to keep the shutter in the first position. The shutter has a recess, emerging at its end face, configured to introduce therein a part of a tool in order to temporarily secure the part of the tool and the shutter in order to displace it in two directions longitudinally.

AUTOMATIC DRAIN VALVE

A drain valve assembly includes a valve housing having an inlet port and an outlet port and a water collection chamber between the inlet port and the outlet port, and a poppet valve positioned in the water collection chamber and arranged to be normally sealingly positioned across the outlet port to prevent water exiting the water collection chamber to the outlet port. The poppet valve is attached to a pressure diaphragm across the water collection chamber such that when the pressure in the water collection chamber exceeds a predetermined opening pressure it causes the diaphragm to lift and to lift the poppet out of sealing engagement across the outlet port such that water can drain to the outlet port from the water collection chamber. The poppet valve has a hollow body defining a channel from a first end of the poppet valve.

PRESSURE VALVE FOR FERMENTER

A pressure valve includes a housing having bottom portion defining a bottom opening configured to be in communication with a vessel and a sidewall defining an internal cavity. The housing includes a vent aperture configured to provide fluid communication between the internal cavity and ambient air surrounding the pressure valve and an accessory aperture configured to couple an accessory to the housing. A seal seat is positioned within the internal cavity fluidly between the vent aperture and the bottom opening. A pressure control assembly is coupled to the housing. The pressure control assembly breaks a sealing engagement with the seal seat to provide fluid communication between the vessel and the vent aperture in response to a desired positive pressure being reached within the vessel or in response to a negative pressure being reached in the vessel. The accessory aperture is positioned between the bottom opening and the seal seat.
