ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED HYDRAULIC VALVE COMPONENTS
A method of manufacturing a hydraulic valve component using additive manufacturing includes laying successive layers to form a flow aperture for a hydraulic valve component, and creating a lattice or mesh structure that at least partially defines the flow aperture of the hydraulic valve component, or a feature that forms an undercut along a direction that is parallel to a flow direction of the flow aperture, or a flow aperture having a size varying along a circumferential direction of the valve component.
Valve system with isolation device
An on/off valve controls circulation of mediums in an upstream pipeline and a downstream pipeline of the on/off valve; a valve stem of the on/off valve is connected with an on/off actuating mechanism; the upstream pipeline of the on/off valve is connected with a pilot trigger mechanism through a communicating pipe, the pilot trigger mechanism is connected with the on/off actuating mechanism, and the pilot trigger mechanism triggers the on/off actuating mechanism. An isolation device is arranged on the communicating pipe and isolates the communicating pipe into an upstream portion and a downstream portion through a pressure sensing component. The pressure sensing component senses a medium pressure from the upstream pipeline and feed back the pressure to the pilot trigger mechanism, thereby causing an action of the pilot trigger mechanism. A non-viscous and incompressible fluid is filled between the downstream of the communicating pipe and the pilot trigger mechanism.
Anti-drainback valves, flex tube assemblies including the same, and dual outlet fluid filter including the same
Anti-drainback valves, flex tube assemblies that include one or more anti-drainback valves, and fluid filters that include one or more flex tube assemblies and/or anti-drainback valves are disclosed. In embodiments the anti-drainback valves and flex tube assemblies are described in the context of their use in a multi (e.g. dual) pump fluid filter, such as a dual pump transmission fluid filter. Dual pump fluid filters including integral and separable flex tube assemblies are also described.
ISOLATING VALVE
An isolation valve for a fluid spray system includes an inlet module for receiving fluid from a main reservoir, an outlet module for providing fluid received from the inlet module to a sprayer, and an actuating module for driving the inlet module between a connected state and an isolated state. The inlet module is mechanically and fluidly connected to the outlet module in the connected state. The inlet module is spaced from the outlet module thereby generating an air gap and electrically isolating the inlet module from the outlet module in the isolated state. The outlet module includes a wash system that draws wash fluid from a wash reservoir as the inlet module transitions to the connected state and drives the wash fluid to clean a portion of the inlet module as the inlet module transitions from the connected state to the isolated state.
Pressure relief valve
A new type of pressure relief valve is described herein which has advantages over standard valves in that it may comprise a longer plunger than normal, and two guiding points located far away from each other for guiding the plunger within the housing. The valve may also comprise improved exhaust ports and an anti-rotation washer.
Methods and system for a zero hysteresis valve
Methods and systems are provided for a zero hysteresis valve. In one example, a valve comprises protrusions shaped to maintain a distance between a moveable portion of the valve and a valve seat.
Dual stage pressure relief valve
A dual stage pressure relief valve for relieving pressure. The pressure relief valve includes a main body, a poppet bulb, a pilot piston, and a poppet cap. The main body defines a main channel that extends from a first opening to a second opening. The poppet bulb defines a first flow channel being in fluid communication with the main channel. The pilot piston defines a reset channel in fluid communication with the first flow channel of the poppet bulb. The cap channel has a diameter that is greater than a diameter of the reset channel. The poppet cap defines a cap channel in fluid communication with the reset channel of the pilot piston and with a pressure cavity defined by the poppet cap and an end of the main body.
Engine oil pressure regulation system
Methods and systems are provided for a lubricant system for an engine. In one example, the system includes external delivery lines coupling an oil reservoir of the engine to a plurality of cylinder head oil galleries, the engine also having internal oil passages. An amount of hydraulic fluid delivered via the external delivery lines is controlled by a pressure control valve having a vent line.
All-metal pressure relief valve
A pressure relief valve having two rigid sealing surfaces lapped to a smoothness Ra of 8 micro-inches or less, and flatness within 80 micro-inches, forms a reliable seal by direct contact therebetween without an elastomer. The sealing surfaces and surrounding structures can be made of one or more metals, such as alloys of stainless steel, and can be CTE-matched, so that the valve is not impeded by environmental temperature changes. In a disclosed embodiment, a poppet is axially pressed against a seal plate by a spring. The poppet can be axially stabilized by sliding within a surrounding cylinder or spacer, and can contact the surrounding surface with a plurality of arms that reduce friction and enable gas flow therebetween. The poppet can be made from anti-galling Nitronic 60 alloy, and the surrounding structures can be stainless steel. Embodiments are suitable for low-pressure gas applications in extreme environments.
