The shut-off valve also includes a manual actuator for acting on the movable assembly, the manual actuator comprising an open position in which it is decoupled from the movable assembly, the electromagnetic actuator thus being able to act on the closure member to cause its closure.

ELECTROMAGNETIC REGULATING VALVE WITH CHECK FUNCTION

The present disclosure discloses an electromagnetic regulating valve with a check function. The valve may effectively regulate the flow in a valve body. Due to different lengths and taper angles of a valve flap group, the flow can be regulated more finely, and a medium can be prevented from backflow by a check function when necessary. Meanwhile, a mesh structure of bases of valve flaps can effectively reduce the instability of flow field motion so as to achieve an effect of rectifying.

Method and device for controlling a solenoid actuator
09777864 · 2017-10-03 · ·

A solenoid actuator for an injection valve or an intake valve is driven with current control during closed-loop control phases. In between the closed-loop current control, the actuator must be clamped to an opposite voltage so as to quickly decrease the current through the solenoid. The current is measured immediately following the clamping phase so as to determine whether or not the clamping phase resulted in the correct current level. If the measured current indicates an extraneous reduction in the current, the clamping phase duration is shortened for the next activation of this clamping phase. If the measured current indicates an insufficient decrease, the clamping phase duration is lengthened for the next following activation cycle.

Solenoid valve lock

A solenoid valve comprising a valve portion and a solenoid portion. The valve portion has a pin, the pin having a groove. The solenoid portion has an aperture configured to receive the pin. A resilient locking device is located in the aperture, the resilient locking device configured to engage the groove when the pin has been inserted into the aperture to releasably hold the pin in the aperture. There is also a movable cap having a first and second position wherein, in the first position the movable cap does not abut the resilient locking device and wherein, in the second position, the movable cap abuts the resilient locking device so as to prevent movement of the resilient locking device out of the groove. A method of locking a valve portion to a solenoid portion of a solenoid valve is also disclosed.

Hydraulic system and method for a hybrid vehicle

A hydraulic system for a hybrid module which is located between an engine and a transmission includes a parallel arrangement of a mechanical pump and an electric pump. Each pump is constructed and arranged to deliver oil to other portions of the hydraulic system depending on the operational mode. Three operational modes are described including an electric mode, a transition mode, and a cruise mode. Various monitoring and control features are incorporated into the hydraulic system.

Low volume, pressure assisted, stem and seat vent valve and associated methods

Exemplary embodiments are directed to vent valves, systems and methods generally involving a valve body that includes a seat retainer, a needle and a seat. The seat includes a bore extending there through and the needle includes a needle stem and a needle head. The seat is disposed inside the seat retainer. The needle stem is disposed inside the bore. The needle is configured to be pulled through the seat to stop flow through the bore. Exemplary embodiments are further directed to a system including a stem return spring mechanism and a solenoid return spring mechanism. A processing device is configured to actuate the solenoid return spring mechanism to permit the stem return spring mechanism to pull the needle through the seat to stop flow through the bore.
