Pneumatically-actuated valve for a machine for the production of liquid or semi-liquid food products and machine comprising the valve

A machine for making liquid or semi-liquid food products with a plurality of deformable feeding containers, each feeding container connected to a processing chamber for processing the base mixture and including a stirrer and a thermal treatment device for the base mixture, operating in conjunction with one another to convert the base mixture into a liquid or semi-liquid product. The operative connection of each feeding container to the processing chamber to transfer the base mixture from the feeding container to the processing chamber is made by a network of withdrawing ducts through an interposed pneumatically actuated valve which can be activated and deactivated independently of the remaining valves and which includes a valve body with an inlet duct and an outlet duct, and with a shutter acting to selectively interrupt or allow the connection between the inlet duct and the outlet duct.

Relay valve and force balancing method

A relay valve configured according to the various embodiments as described herein advantageously provides consistent, reliable start point pressures for both supply and exhaust functionalities. To achieve this, the relay valves described herein utilize a plurality of diaphragms to neutralize any variable forces due to pressure in an actuator and, optionally, a supply connected to the relay valve.

Siphon activated valve
10774512 · 2020-09-15 · ·

A fill valve system with a float nested in a container connected to the fill valve and a siphon device passing water out of the container into the toilet tank, with the siphon device having an air vent dimensioned such that: (i) tank refilling is delayed until after the flush valve closes; (ii) the fill valve is not turned on by small leaks in the tank; and (iii) the fill valve turns off when it encounters large leaks in the tank.

Vacuum operated valve

A fill valve with pressure chamber having an open bottom end and a diaphragm at a top end such that falling water level in the toilet tank causes the diaphragm to flex in a first direction, thereby moving a sealing member to an open position, with a venturi in the fill valve keeping the sealing member in the open position until water refilling the tank causes the diaphragm to flex in a second direction, thereby moving the sealing member back to the closed position.

Check valve assembly

A check valve assembly is configured to couple to a first container that retains a first fluid and a second container that retains a second fluid. The check valve includes a fluid inlet housing including a first fluid inlet port defining a first fluid inlet channel, and a second fluid inlet port defining a second fluid inlet channel. A fluid outlet housing is coupled to the fluid inlet housing. The fluid outlet housing includes a fluid outlet port defining a fluid outlet channel. A first diaphragm is seated over the first fluid inlet channel. At least a portion of the first diaphragm is configured to unseat over the first fluid inlet channel to allow the first fluid to pass from the first fluid inlet channel into the fluid outlet channel. A second diaphragm is seated over the second fluid inlet channel. At least a portion of the second diaphragm is configured to unseat over the first fluid inlet channel to allow the second fluid to pass from the second fluid inlet channel into the fluid outlet channel.

Flow diverter with antisiphon
10676905 · 2020-06-09 · ·

A flow diverter for diverting flow between a toilet bowl and a toilet tank, having: a body having an inlet, a first outlet and a second outlet; and a flow adjustment mechanism rotatable within the body to selectively divert different percentages of flow between the first outlet and the second outlet; and an air vent and diaphragm in the body to prevent a siphon flow from the first or second outlet back to the inlet.

System for adjusting the pressure of a gas
10663986 · 2020-05-26 · ·

A system for adjusting pressure of a gas includes: a first shutter unit for causing a pressure drop in the gas, from a supply pressure to a delivery pressure; a pilot unit for providing a pilot pressure depending on the difference between the delivery pressure and a predefined setting pressure; a first drive unit operated by the pilot pressure to reduce the opening of the first shutter unit when the delivery pressure exceeds the setting pressure, and vice versa; a second shutter unit in series with the first shutter unit can assume a closed configuration; a second drive unit operated by the pilot pressure to reduce the opening of the second shutter unit when the delivery pressure exceeds the setting pressure, and vice versa. When the first shutter unit is open the opening of the second shutter unit causes a pressure drop smaller than the pressure drop by the first shutter unit.

Valve device

A valve device for liquids, especially for liquid plastic constituents of single- or multiple-constituent plastic mixtures, includes a valve housing with a liquid inlet and a metering valve, which has a discharge opening that can be closed by a closure element, a pressure control device acting on the liquid in the liquid inlet and comprising a control membrane which acts on the closure element. A shut-off diaphragm separates the pressure control device from the liquid inlet, and the pressure control device comprises a fluid-tight control chamber which is at least partially arranged in the valve housing, for storing a substantially incompressible fluid. A pressure generating device allows the control membrane to be subjected to pressure by the incompressible fluid arranged in the control chamber.

PNEUMATIC VALVE

A fluid bladder valve for a pneumatic vehicle seat adjustment device is disclosed. The valve comprises a first chamber configured to be connected to a fluid source, a second chamber configured to be connected to the fluid bladder, a third chamber configured to be connected to an environment, a fourth chamber connected to the first chamber via a first fluid passage, connected to the second chamber via a second fluid passage, and connected to the third chamber via a third fluid passage; and an actuator comprising a membrane disposed in the fourth chamber and an actuator element disposed in the third chamber and coupled to the membrane and configured to move the membrane between a first position wherein the first fluid passage is opened and the third fluid passage is closed, and a second position wherein the first fluid passage is closed and the third fluid passage is opened.

CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY

An infusion set check valve assembly includes a self-contained housing that defines inlet ports and an outlet port. The assembly also includes at least one check valve disposed within the self-contained housing between the outlet channel and at least one of the inlet ports. The at least one check valve is configured to open for a first fluid to flow from a first inlet to a patient line via an outlet channel while a second fluid also flows from a second inlet to the patient line via the outlet channel. The at least one check valve closes to prevent the first fluid from flowing to the patient line via the outlet channel while the second fluid flows to the patient line.
