PRE-ASSEMBLED PIPE COUPLING WITH MANUALLY MANIPULATABLE SEGMENTS
A pre-assembled pipe coupling includes a gasket, a housing surrounding the gasket, and a fastener. The housing has three segments sequentially coupled to each other to define an insertion boundary. A first segment includes a first mount extending lateral in a first direction from the wall and having a plurality of first lateral walls that define a first aperture, and a second mount extending laterally in a second direction from the wall, the second mount having a plurality of second lateral walls that define a second aperture. A second segment includes a first hook disposed in the first aperture and a first tab defining a first fastener aperture. A third segment includes a second hook disposed in the second aperture and a second tab defining a second fastener aperture. The fastener is disposed through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture.
RETAINING RING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A retaining ring system and method of use for fastening two components together. The retaining ring in one embodiment can have a hexagon cross-sectional shape, and in use can be housed between two grooves on adjacent conduits that can have an isosceles trapezoidal shape. The grooves can be configured so that if a bearing surface of one component having a perpendicular line emanating away from it would cross somewhere along an opposite bearing surface of the second component.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR POSITIONING COMPONENTS ON A CABLE
A device and method of positioning a component on a cable. The method includes: moving a collet into position on the component; engaging the component with the collet; moving the collet with the component positioned thereon into alignment with an end of the cable; securing the collet to the end of the cable; moving the component from the collet to the cable; and removing the collet from the end of the cable.
Clamp having a core layer of rigid polyurethane
A creep resistant material comprises a core layer (12) of rigid polyurethane with a first tensile reinforcement layer (17) applied on one surface and a second tensile reinforcement layer (17) applied on the other opposed surface of the core layer, the entire respective first and second tensile reinforcement layers being in contact with the first and second surface of the core layer of the material.
Method and apparatus for suspending a package in an elevated position
One embodiment provides a method and apparatus for suspending air conditioning duct works from a support structure comprising unistrut type support beams which apparatus includes a plurality of support brackets arranged and configured for being slidably interlockable with the interior of the unistrut beam members. The support brackets can be slid inside the interior of the support beam until adjacent a support beam which support beam can be connected to the support bracket. In like manner additional support brackets can be inserted into the interior of the support beam members to be adjustably located next to their respective support rod. In such manner multiple support rods can be used to support a frame member even where the support rods are not symmetrically located along the length of the support beam as the support bracket can be slid/moved inside the support beam until lining up with its respective support rod. Additionally, the entire support framework can be moved relative to the plurality of support rods by sliding the framework relative to the support brackets. In such manner the location of the supporting frame member can be changed without moving the support rods.
Bracket assembly for securing conduits of a machine
A bracket assembly for securing a plurality of conduits includes a base including at least one recess, the recess defined by a bottom surface and a pair of side surfaces and a securing member configured to mate with the base and extend across the recess to form a conduit-receiving area. The bracket assembly also includes at least one adapter coupled to the recess to reduce the size of the conduit-receiving area.
APPARATUS FOR RETAINING ELECTRICAL CABLES
A cable cleat (10) is disclosed. The cleat has a first portion (12) partially defining first apertures (14) for receiving a respective first cables and a second portion (18) partially defining said first apertures, and partially defining a second aperture (22) for receiving a second cable. The second portion is adapted to be mounted to the first portion to retain the first cables in the respective first apertures. The cleat also has a third portion (26) partially defining the second aperture and adapted to be mounted to the first and/or second portion to retain the second cable in the second aperture.
Vibration damper for pipes
A damping device (1) for pipelines (2) includes a compression ring (3) with three ring segments (4) that can be positioned around a pipe (2). Each ring segment (4) forms a damper seat (8) that receives at least one damping element (9) made of elastomeric material intended to be radially compressed against an outer surface of the pipe (2). The damper seat (8) is in shape connection with the damping element (9) so as to prevent the damping element (9) from being released from the damper seat (8) in an axial direction and in a radial direction.
ASSEMBLY OF CABLE TRAYS
An object of the present invention is to provide an assembly of cable trays capable of reducing a manufacturing cost by allowing a load to be reinforced and maintained simply by an L-shaped pin assembly structure when coupling cable trays with a connecting member. The assembly of cable trays includes a cable tray, a connecting member, and a fixing member. Meanwhile, the connecting member is configured to allow: a pair of protruding insertion pieces to be integrally formed at the upper and lower portions, respectively, in the middle thereof; the fixing member to be coupled with a slot formed by the protrusion of the protruding insertion piece; and a clip portion to be formed in an outer side direction of each of the protruding insertion pieces so as to be supported by the through hole of the cable tray.
Device for supporting horizontal pipe in four directions
Disclosed is a device for supporting a horizontal pipe in four directions including: a clamp member fixed while surrounding a pipe, and a first support and a second support which are coupled to a bracket of which one end is coupled to the clamp member and the other end is fixed to a slab. The clamp member is constituted by a first member formed in a semi-arc shape, a second member formed in an arc shape at an angle of 120 to 150, and a third member formed at an angle of 30 to 60 from a vertical direction.
