PIPE COUPLINGS

A method of installing a 3-piece pipe coupling to connect a first pipe element to a second pipe element includes the steps of bringing the 3-piece pipe coupling into engagement with a first connection groove located proximate a first pipe element end of the first pipe element and with a second connection groove located proximate a second pipe element end of the second pipe element, the 3-piece pipe coupling comprising three pieces; and tightening the 3-piece pipe coupling about the first and second pipe element ends with a fastener extending through a first fastener pad and through a second fastener pad formed at respective distal ends of two pieces of the three pieces comprising the 3-piece pipe coupling.

Clamping system for connecting two tubes having protruding clamping surfaces. The system comprises a collar having a strip able to cooperate with the clamping surfaces. The strip has a first and a second flank between which an inner recess able to receive the clamping surfaces is delimited. The system has at least one retaining clip having a cross-member which extends across the inner recess, a first and a second wing which extend radially outwardly relative to the cross-member by covering the flanks and a first and a second retaining configuration each having at least one retaining lug. The cross-member is able to be deformed to penetrate into the inner recess.

Systems and methods for a segmented aircraft refueling tube with a tube interface include a plurality of seals configured to deform while allowing relative movement between tube segments. The systems include a tube interface that includes a first ring, a second ring, a first seal disposed between a first ferrule and the first ring, a second seal disposed between a second ferrule and the second ring, a third seal disposed between the first ring and a sleeve, and a fourth seal disposed between the second ring and the sleeve. The plurality of seals per ring allow for misalignment between the ferrules to be accommodated by two or more seals.

The present disclosure is related to bioprocessing devices, systems, and methods, and particularly to sanitary connections for bioprocessing. The devices, systems, and methods described herein can relate to the sanitary connection of flow fittings, such as reducers, with considerations for ease of assembly and sealing. In some embodiments, the system may include a flow reducer, a ferrule and a gasket. The flow reducer may include a gasket channel, an overmold channel within the gasket channel, and one or more cavities within the overmold channel. The gasket may be overmolded within the gasket channel and extending within the one or more cavities.

Seal and a tubular heat exchanger using such seal

A seal including a first portion having a first width that extends in a radial direction of the seal, a second portion that is joined with the first portion and having a second width that is smaller than the first width, and a first recess that is located in the first portion to reduce a width expansion of the first portion when the seal is compressed in an axial direction of the seal.
