Electroweldable branch fitting for high diameter pipes and relative welding method
An electroweldable branch fitting for high diameter pipes comprises at least a first collar (20, 20′) provided with a predetermined radius of curvature (R), wherein the collar (20, 20′) identifies on opposite sides a concave surface (21) and a convex surface (22), further comprising at least one first electrical wire winding (23) associated with the concave surface (21) of the collar (20, 20′) and carrying one first pair of electrical terminals (24), arranged on the convex surface (22) of the collar (20, 20′) for applying an electric current adapted to cause the electrofusion of the collar (20, 20′), wherein the concave surface (21) of the collar (20, 20′) is continuous, i.e. not perforated, and wherein the first electrical wire winding (23) is uniformly distributed on the concave surface (21) at least in the central part thereof, the collar (20, 20′) being provided with a branch sleeve (30), centrally on the convex surface (22), for the connection to a branch pipe, the branch sleeve identifying a blind hole (32) having a bottom wall (32) consisting of the wall of the collar (20, 20′).

PIPE FITTING INSTALLATION DEVICE
A portable assembly for securing a plastic fitting to a plastic pipe by employing fusion or thermal sealing is disclosed. The assembly is secured to the outer circumference of a plastic pipe at a desired location. The assembly can be secured at any longitudinal and lateral position along a plastic pipe. A heater heats both the pipe and the fitting to the point where they begin to melt. The heater is then removed and the fitting is pressed onto the surface of the pipe, thus fusing the fitting to the pipe. After cooling, the assembly is removed and the surface of the pipe within the interior of the fitting is drilled or removed. This now enables fluid within the pipe to be sent to the fitting and onto distribution lines which are connected to the fitting.

Apparatus and Method for Providing Access to Buried Pipeline
The pipe access device is comprised of a curved plate adapted to engage an underground pipe along an arc of the outer surface of the pipe, and a boss extending upwardly from the curved plate about an aperture in the curved plate. The boss is adapted to receive an extension pipe. The boss includes a flange adapted to engage ad end of the extension pipe. A gasket is combined with the flange to help seal the connection between the boss and the extension pipe. The pipe access device is for use in providing access to the buried pipe that requires minimal excavation and disruption of the soil.

Self locking and sealing pipe tapping means
The invention is a tapping assembly for use on a pipe or tank. It includes a hollow body that sits flush on the outer wall of the pipe or tank and includes a plurality of locking members that sit flush within the body and form a threaded portion into which a cap is insertable. Each locking member extends into the interior of the pipe or tank, and has an outwardly extending flanged portion that engages with the inner sidewall of the pipe or tank. When the cap is tightened against the body, it causes each of the locking member to retract, thereby causing the respective flange portions to lock the assembly against the pipe or tank wall. The assembly can be manufactured to provide either an orthogonal tap, or an angled tap, relative to the longitudinal axis of the pipe, or plane of the tank sidewall.
