PIPE REPAIR AND THE METHODS FOR OPERATIONAL FIXING AND DEFINITIVE WELDING THEREOF
The present invention relates to the repair of pipes, comprising a two-part ring fixed initially by a compression unit which allows the execution of longitudinal welding in order definitively to fix the two-part ring, via apertures, before the compression unit is removed. The two-part ring will be completely welded to the pipe, especially in regions close to connections, but it is necessary for the two-part ring to be fixed initially by the compression unit for the purpose of shaping and definitive geometry of the ring relative to the pipe, normalization of fluid conveyance and in order that it is possible for welding to be planned for the opportune moment.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LEAK DETECTION AND SEALING
Systems and methods for detecting and sealing a leak in a low-pressure transportation system including a low-pressure environment having a wall with an outer and an inner surface and an interior, and a hole passing through the wall that defines the leak in the low-pressure transportation system. The systems and methods including at least two sensors provided within the interior of the low-pressure environment that are structured and arranged to detect the leak, a controller in communication with the at least two sensors, a membrane deployer in communication with the controller, and a sealing membrane deployable by the membrane deployer and structured and arranged to provide a pressure-tight seal over the hole on the outer surface of the wall to seal the leak.
REPAIRING MATERIAL FOR LIQUID LEAKAGE, REPAIRING METHOD FOR LIQUID LEAKAGE, AND PIPELINE
Provided is a liquid leakage repair material, including: a curable composition, wherein a liquid absorption rate of the liquid leakage repair material after cured is lower than 10%.
Multi-layer pipe tubing repair systems and methods
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a pipeline system that includes a pipe segment and a pipe repair assembly. The pipe segment includes tubing having an inner barrier layer that defines a pipe bore through the pipe segment, an intermediate layer including solid strip wraps implemented around the inner barrier layer such that gaps are defined between adjacent solid strip wraps, and an outer barrier layer implemented around the intermediate layer. The pipe repair assembly includes an auxiliary patch secured at least across a break in a solid strip wrap in the intermediate layer of the pipe segment that is exposed by a hole in the outer barrier layer of the pipe segment; and outer material disposed over the auxiliary patch via an injection machine to fill the hole in the outer barrier layer of the pipe segment.
Pipe that is Friction Forge Bonded to a Ladder Support through a Stud and a Bracket
In some implementations, an apparatus comprises a pipe, a stud that is forge-welded to the pipe, creating a forge-welded stud, a bracket that is operably coupled to the forge-welded stud, and a ladder support operably coupled to the bracket.
Patch plug assemblies and methods of sealing tubulars
Methods of sealing tubulars are disclosed herein, which methods may include: providing a patch plug assembly that includes: a shaft; a wedge coupled to the shaft; a slip coupled to the shaft; a plug slidably coupled to the wedge; and a ferrule disposed between the wedge and the plug; pushing the slip against the tubular; pushing the plug against the ferrule after the slip is pushed against the tubular; pushing the ferrule against the wedge after the plug is pushed against the ferrule; and pushing a plug portion of the plug against an inner surface of the tubular.
EMERGENCY LEAK CLAMP
A device and method for sealing a leak in a pipe. The device includes a sealing component that is placed against a pipe outer surface and over the leak. A clamp extending from the sealing component clamps partially around a circumference of the pipe and pulls the sealing component against the pipe. A vent in combination with the sealing member releases leaking gas through or around the sealing component while the sealing component is being secured to the pipe. The vent is then closed after full clamping is completed.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF A COMPOSITE FOR ON-SITE PIPELINE REINFORCEMENT
A device for preparation of composite for on-site pipeline reinforcement includes: a temperature control stirring unit, an infiltration unit, and a vacuum unit communicated in sequence, the infiltration unit includes a spindle, reinforced fiber cloth, a flow-guiding net, and a vacuum bag film sleeved outside them, the spindle is stopped by two baffles, an adhesive feeding joint and an adhesive discharging joint are disposed at two ends of the spindle, respectively, the adhesive feeding joint and the adhesive discharging joint each includes an inner joint and an outer joint, sealing discs disposed at a junction between the inner joint and the outer joint, an outer wall of the inner joint and an outer side of the baffle are covered by a flow-leading net, and the flow-guiding net covered on the outer side of the baffle extends from an edge of the baffle into the adhesive storing compartment of the baffle.

Magnetic patch system
A magnetic patch system includes a sealing member configured for attachment to a pipeline proximate to a breach in a wall of the pipeline. A magnet is positioned at least partially within a housing arrangement. The magnet may be oriented to generate a force toward the wall of the pipeline to attach the housing arrangement to the wall of the pipeline and capture the sealing member between the housing arrangement and the wall of the pipeline. The system may be installed inside a pipeline using a remotely controlled robotic system.
