Emergency leak clamp

A device and method for sealing a leak in a pipe. The device includes a sealing component that is placed against a pipe outer surface and over the leak. A clamp extending from the sealing component clamps partially around a circumference of the pipe and pulls the sealing component against the pipe. A vent in combination with the sealing member releases leaking gas through or around the sealing component while the sealing component is being secured to the pipe. The vent is then closed after full clamping is completed.

Plurality of studs being friction welded to an exterior surface of a curved structure having a block patch and a steel patch between the exterior surface and the studs

In some implementations, an apparatus comprises a pipe, a stud that is forge-welded to the pipe, creating a forge-welded stud, a bracket that is operably coupled to the forge-welded stud, and a ladder support operably coupled to the bracket.

Patch plug assemblies and methods of sealing tubulars

Methods of sealing tubulars are disclosed herein, which methods may include: providing a patch plug assembly that includes: a shaft; a wedge coupled to the shaft; a slip coupled to the shaft; a plug slidably coupled to the wedge; and a ferrule disposed between the wedge and the plug; pushing the slip against the tubular; pushing the plug against the ferrule after the slip is pushed against the tubular; pushing the ferrule against the wedge after the plug is pushed against the ferrule; and pushing a plug portion of the plug against an inner surface of the tubular.

Pipe that is friction forge bonded to a walkway or ladder through a stud and a bracket

In some implementations, an apparatus comprises a pipe, a stud that is forge-welded to the pipe, creating a forge-welded stud, a bracket that is operably coupled to the forge-welded stud, and a walkway operably coupled to the bracket.

Repair system and method

A method of repairing a flexible pipe within a carrier pipe. The method then increases a first area of a first hole in the carrier pipe. The method then bends a first layer of the flexible pipe around a second hole in the first layer. The method then patches a third hole in a second layer of the flexible pipe.

REPAIR WELDING METHOD

A repair welding method according to at least one embodiment is for a member in which a first end and a second end of a parent material are connected by welding and includes: a step of removing a portion including at least a part of a first heat-affected zone of an existing welded portion of the member; and a step of performing repair welding after removing the portion. In a cross-section including the parent material and the existing welded portion, all intersection portions between the first heat-affected zone of the existing welded portion and a second heat-affected zone due to the repair welding have an intersection angle between the first heat-affected zone and the second heat-affected zone of 70° to 110°.
