A first four of the trunnion mounts may be coupled between a front half of the inner tank and a front half of the outer tank. A second four of the trunnion mounts may be coupled between a rear half of the inner tank and a rear half of the outer tank. The trunnion mount may be further strengthen with a plurality of pie-shaped reinforcing pads welded to each other and to an outer surface of the inner tank.
Method for Forming Connections from a Reinforcing Fiber or Reinforcing Fibers, and Method for Producing a Pressure Container
A method is provided for forming connections from reinforcing fibers between faces of a wall for a pressure container. The reinforcing fibers are gripped by tufting needles and are pushed through the faces, and loops are formed through which support elements are introduced. A corresponding method produces a pressure container.
X-beam structure and pressure tank having X-beam structure
Provided is an X-beam structure including: a plurality of beams extending in X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis directions and formed in a lattice pattern and a plurality of cross intersections at which an X-axis beam, a Y-axis beam, and a Z-axis beam meet one another, wherein in the X-beam structure in which a cross section of each beam has the geometry of a right-angled X, and the beam intersections are formed with one continuous beam and the two other joining beams are attached and welded onto the continuous beam.
COMPOSITE PRESSURE VESSEL WITH REINFORCEMENT ELEMENT
A reinforcement element, suitable for composite pressure vessel, may be configured to be inserted and to fill in a hollow shaft of a plastic liner of the composite pressure vessel, the hollow shaft connecting opposite walls of the liner. The reinforcement element may include a central part and two external parts constituted by a plurality of continuous fibres impregnated with a first resin. The central part of the reinforcement element may have a dimension substantially equal to the dimension of the hollow shaft and being a full part. The two external parts may be able to be unfolded and fixed on the external surface of opposite walls of the liner. A composite pressure vessel may include such a reinforcement element.
LIQUEFIED GAS STORAGE TANK
A tank for storing liquefied gas, having a shell delimiting a storage volume extending in a main direction which is horizontal in the use configuration of the tank, the tank comprising multiple deflecting walls in the storage volume which extend in an offset manner in the main direction configured to force the fluid to perform at least one back-and-forth movement in the main direction as the fluid passes between the lower end and the upper end of the storage volume, wherein a plurality of these deflecting walls are located in the lower half of the storage volume.
CONTAINER FOR RECEIVING AND STORING CRYOGENIC FLUIDS PARTICULARLY CRYOGENIC LIQUIDS AND VISCOUS MATERIALS, AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF, AND USE THEREOF
The invention relates to a container for holding and storing liquids and viscous materials, in particular cryogenic fluids, comprising a jacket (12), which defines the interior (14) of the container (10) having a chamber (16), said container (10) being constituted of at least two container structures (20, 20′, 20″) and each of said at least two container structures (20, 20′, 20″) being formed as one piece from a blank (32) and having a dome portion (22), a branching portion (24), which is contiguous to the dome portion (22), and two cylinder portions (26, 28; 26′, 28′), which are contiguous to the branching portion (24), and the mutually facing container structures (20, 20; 20′, 20″) which are adjacent to each other being joined together.
HIGH-PRESSURE TANK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HIGH-PRESSURE TANK
A high-pressure tank includes a cylindrical portion including a fiber-reinforced resin and a dome portion including a fiber-reinforced resin. The cylindrical portion includes an axial fiber layer including a fiber oriented in a center axis direction of the high-pressure tank, and a circumferential fiber layer including a fiber oriented in a circumferential direction of the high-pressure tank. An end portion of the axial fiber layer and an end portion of the dome portion are joined to each other.
PUMP TOWER OF LIQUEFIED GAS STORAGE TANK
Disclosed is a pump tower disposed inside a liquefied gas storage tank so as to supply or discharge liquefied gas to/from the inside of the liquefied gas storage tank. The pump tower, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a discharge pipe used for discharging the liquefied gas in the liquefied gas storage tank; an emergency pipe equipped with an emergency pump at the lower end thereof; a charge pipe for supplying the liquefied gas into the liquefied gas storage tank; and a support, which is provided on the bottom of the liquefied gas storage tank, for enabling the vertical displacement of the pump tower and restricting the horizontal movement and rotation thereof. The support comprises: a lower body fixed to a hull side; an upper body fixed to a pump tower side; and a wedge member interposed between the lower body and the upper body.
PRESSURE VESSEL WITH CIRCUMFERENTIAL REINFORCING ELEMENTS
The present invention is a pressure tank comprising a tubular part and two bottoms (5) with the bottoms (5) positioned at the ends of the tubular part. The tubular part comprises a cylindrical wall (1) and a ply of circumferential reinforcing elements (2) wound around cylindrical wall (1).
