HYDROGEN REFUELING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF HYDROGEN REFUELING
This invention can provide a hydrogen refueling system capable to reduce waiting time for refueling H.sub.2 to vehicles. The system is designed and operated to acquire the residual pressure in the vehicle the that connects to the dispenser, then to calculate sufficient conditions to perform complete refueling of the connected vehicle (in particular minimum pressure in buffers), and then to start H.sub.2 transfer to the vehicle as soon as the conditions are met. Waiting time can be further reduced with minimum investment by having a H.sub.2 dispenser with two H.sub.2 refueling hoses which has only one H.sub.2 flow control valve and/or only one H.sub.2 cooling heat exchanger and/or only one H.sub.2 flow metering system.
Natural gas home fast fill refueling station
A home-based, low-cost, self-contained, fast-fill natural gas refueling station for providing compress natural gas (CNG) fuel for motor vehicles. The station compresses utility supplied natural gas and stores the CNG in a CNG storage facility located inside the station. In preferred embodiments the refueling station is located adjacent to a driveway at a home. The compressor preferably is a multi-stage gas compressor having at least three stages of compression. Applicant estimates that savings based today prices for CNG as compared to gasoline, a typical family with only one car could pay for the station in three years. If the family has several cars the station could pay for itself much earlier.
CNG fueling system
A compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling system has a single compressor, a storage tank configured to receive CNG from the compressor, and a CNG feedback to the compressor from the storage tank.
CRYOGENIC FLUID STORAGE TANK AND METHOD FOR FILLING SAME
The invention relates to a tank for storing a cryogenic mixture of liquid and gas, comprising a first casing, a draw-off pipe for drawing off fluid, which has an upstream end connected to said first casing, a filling circuit comprising a first filling pipe with an upstream end to be connected to a fluid source and a downstream end connected to the lower portion of the first casing, said filling circuit comprising a second filling pipe connected to the fluid source and a downstream end connected to the upper portion of the first casing, wherein the upstream ends of said first and second filling pipes are designed to be connected to the same fluid source simultaneously, and a distribution valve assembly which is configured to allow distribution of the fluid in said filling pipes, wherein the tank comprises a sensor assembly which measures the pressure in the first casing, said distribution valve assembly being configured to automatically adjust the pressure in the first casing, during filling, to a predetermined pressure setpoint (Pc) by means of the automatic distribution of the flow rate of fluid from the source in the filling pipes, depending on the pressure setpoint (Pc) and the pressure measured by the sensor assembly.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FILLING TANK
A system and a method for filling a tank are provided. The tank filling system includes tanks that are filled with predetermined fluid and a manifold that is coupled to each of the plurality of tanks in a communication manner. A first flow passage is connected to a first inlet of the manifold to supply the fluid to be filled into the plurality of tanks to the manifold and a second flow passage is connected to a second inlet of the manifold spaced apart from the first inlet of the manifold by a predetermined distance to supply the fluid to be filled into the plurality of tanks to the manifold. A controller opens and closes the first flow passage and the second flow passage.
Hydrogen gas filling method and hydrogen gas filling device
According to one aspect of the present invention, a hydrogen gas filling method includes receiving, from a vehicle equipped with a tank to be filled with hydrogen gas and powered by the hydrogen gas, a temperature of the tank before a start of filling; calculating a difference between a preset maximum temperature and the temperature of the tank; calculating a filling speed of the hydrogen gas depending on the difference; and filling the hydrogen gas from an accumulator in which the hydrogen gas is accumulated into the tank at the filling speed calculated via a measuring machine.
CRYOGENIC FLUID STORAGE TANK
The invention relates to a tank for storing a two-phase cryogenic mixture of liquid and gas, comprising a first casing, at least one drawing pipe, a tank filling circuit, the tank comprising a sensor assembly measuring the pressure in the first casing, the tank comprising a pipe for pressurizing the internal casing, comprising an upstream end connected to the lower end of the first casing and a downstream end connected to the upper part of the first casing, the pressurization line comprising at least one regulating valve and a heater, in particular a vaporization heat exchanger. The invention is characterized in that the regulating valve is configured to automatically maintain the pressure in the first casing at a minimum value by ensuring, when the pressure in the first casing is lower than said first value, a circulation of liquid taken from the first casing in the heater and a re-injection of said heated fluid into the first casing.
