The disclosure is used for filling gas cylinders, wherein the weighing, the fixing of the bottle valve and the rotation of the hand wheel are all automatically controlled and operated by the PLC control unit, and there is no need for operator to stay with the facility. The operation can be completed through operating the PLC control unit in the operation room, thereby preventing the filling personnel from being exposed to danger and harmed during the gas filling process. Meanwhile, the gas filling efficiency is greatly improved, the accuracy of the weighing is also ensured, and the proportion of each gas is highly accurate.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REFUELING A VEHICLE TANK WITH LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM (LP) GAS
A vehicle has a fuel system that includes a controller that determines when the vehicle is in a refuel mode or a run mode based on a connection of a refuel nozzle to a vehicle connection of the vehicle. The controller controls a fuel pump input selector, a vehicle fuel pump, and a fill/run fuel selector such that fuel is pumped from a storage tank external to the vehicle into a vehicle fuel tank by way of the vehicle fuel pump in the refuel mode, and fuel is pumped to an engine of the vehicle from the vehicle fuel tank by way of the vehicle fuel pump in the run mode.
Process and device for filling tanks
A method for filling tanks with pressurized gas via a filling station comprising several storage containers and a fluid circuit for transferring the gas from the containers to the tanks, the circuit comprising a first end to which the containers are linked in parallel and a second end provided with a transfer line intended to be connected to the tank(s) to be filled, the circuit comprising, arranged in series between the first end and the second end, a first isolation valve, a flow or pressure regulation member, and a second isolation valve, the method comprising filling a first tank, characterized in that, on completion of the filling of the first tank and before filling a second tank, the first and second isolation valves are closed to trap a supply of pressurized gas in the circuit between said two valves and in that the supply of gas is used to refill at least one of the containers.
Method for refueling of gas into a pressurized gas tank
A method for refueling of gas into a pressurized gas tank with repeated adjustment of a target pressure (Ptarget) for the refueling is disclosed, said method comprising the steps of: recording starting conditions for the refueling, establishing a mathematical relation between the recorded starting conditions, the actual refueling time (t_refueling) passed and the target pressure for the refueling, starting the refueling, and repeatedly calculating the target pressure corresponding to the actual refueling time passed and measuring the nozzle pressure of the refueling station, until the calculated target pressure has been reached.
System and method for refueling a vehicle tank with liquified petroleum (LP) gas
LOW-EMISSION NOZZLE AND RECEPTACLE COUPLING FOR CRYOGENIC FLUID
A low-emission nozzle and receptacle coupling for cryogenic fluid is disclosed. An example nozzle includes a body including a front end and a back end and defining a chamber through which the cryogenic fluid is to flow to the receptacle. The nozzle includes a shaft having a first end and a second end. The shaft is housed within and slidably extending through the chamber. The nozzle includes a poppet coupled to the first end of the shaft and an actuator including a stem coupled to the second end of the shaft. The stem is configured to linearly actuate to cause the shaft and the poppet to linearly actuate. The nozzle includes a coupling assembly coupling the actuator to the back end of the body. The coupling assembly includes insulating material to thermally isolate the actuator from the chamber through which the cryogenic fluid is to flow.
Control conduit for LH2 offloading
A control conduit for liquid hydrogen offloading is configured to couple a controller of a liquid hydrogen offload system to a liquid hydrogen tanker. The control conduit includes a control line and a gas detector. The control line is configured to transmit a control signal from the controller to the liquid hydrogen tanker. The gas detector is configured to detect hydrogen gas and provide a gas detector signal to the controller. The gas detector is secured to the control line at a predetermined distance from a tanker connection end of the control line.
Apparatus and method for hydrogen fuel dispensing
An apparatus for hydrogen dispensing can be configured to generate a display to be output visually to a customer that may use a dispenser to fill a fuel tank with hydrogen fuel. The display can include a graphical user interface or other interface that can show the customer information about the dispensing of fuel that is being provided to the user. This displayed information can include information to indicate an estimated time remaining to fully fill a vehicle's fuel tank so the customer can have visual and/or audible indications for how much longer the customer may have to wait to have the vehicle's fuel tank filled for continued use of the dispenser. This can improve the customer's experience at the fueling station. For instance, embodiments can allow the customer to more effectively use the fueling station and manage his or her time at the fueling station.
Gas filling method
A hydrogen gas filling method includes: a step for acquiring a pre-supply upstream pressure that is a pressure in a station side of a piping at time t0, a step for starting the supply of hydrogen gas from the station at time t1 that is after the pre-supply upstream pressure is acquired, a step for acquiring a post-supply upstream pressure at time t2 that is immediate after the supply of hydrogen gas starts, a step for acquiring a start-time flowrate that is a flowrate of hydrogen gas at the same period as the step for starting, a step for estimating the pressure loss generated in the piping at the time of the supply by using the pre-supply upstream pressure, post-supply upstream pressure, and the start-time flowrate, and a step for stopping the supply of hydrogen gas so that a tank pressure conforms with a predetermined target pressure.
