Vehicle lens apparatus
A vehicle lens apparatus includes a top lens connected to a main lens. The main lens projects onto a horizontal surface a first light pattern with a width in a rear-to-front direction to include a first main light region, and two first lateral light regions respectively formed at left and right sides of the first main light region. The top lens projects a second light pattern convexed in a rear-to-front direction, and includes a second main light region superimposed on the first main light region, and two second lateral light regions respectively and rearwardly extending from left and right sides of the second main light region to protrude rearwardly from the first lateral light regions.
Lamp for vehicle and vehicle including the same
Disclosed is a lamp for a vehicle, the lamp including: a light source configured to emit light; and a multi facet lens (MFL) which is provided in front of the light source, and includes a plurality of facets and stepped portions formed in boundary regions between the plurality of facets. At least some of exit surfaces of the plurality of facets have a shape of a portion of an aspherical lens or an anamorphic lens.

Optical system for vehicle and vehicle lamp using the same
An optical system including a plurality of lenses is provided. In particular, a horizontal field of view and a vertical field of view of the optical system are different from each other, and a horizontal effective focal length (EFL) and a vertical EFL of the optical system are different from each other. In addition, a retro-focus type optical system is formed in one of a horizontal direction or a vertical direction, and a telephoto type optical system is formed in the other of the horizontal direction or the vertical direction such that a beam pattern from a square-shaped light source is extended laterally.

Method for producing an aperture array for a microlens array
A method for producing an aperture array for a microlens array, in particular for a microlens array of a vehicle headlamp, comprising at least the following steps: providing a wafer having a microlens array arranged on a first wafer surface, masking a second wafer surface of the wafer by means of a shadow mask, wherein the shadow mask includes a negative of the aperture array, coating the masked wafer surface with an opaque layer, removing the shadow mask and obtaining the aperture array on the second wafer surface.
Lamp for vehicle
A lamp for a vehicle includes a light source unit that generates light and an optical unit for guiding the light. The light source unit includes a plurality of light sources arranged in a matrix shape, and the optical unit includes a plurality of optical members disposed in a traveling direction of the light. The light generated from the plurality of light sources passes through the optical unit to form a beam pattern.
LIGHTING TOOL FOR VEHICLE
A projection lens has a first lens body including a first incidence section disposed at a side facing a first light source and a first emitting section disposed at a side opposite to the first incidence section, and a second lens body including a second incidence section disposed at a side facing a second light source and a second emitting section disposed at a side opposite to the second incidence section, a structure in which the first lens body and the second lens body abut against each other via an intermediate layer which is interposed between facing boundary surfaces of the first lens body and the second lens body is provided, and a refractive index of the intermediate layer is smaller than a refractive index of the first lens body.
LIGHTING DEVICE AND PROJECTOR DEVICE
A lighting device according to the present technology includes: a light source unit that has a light emitting element; a spatial light phase modulator that generates a plurality of reproduced images at intervals on an image surface by performing spatial light phase modulation on incident light from the light source unit; and a projection unit that superimposes and projects the plurality of reproduced images on a projection surface via different projection lenses.
Camera based hands-free power lift gate
A method and system for a camera based hands free power liftgate is described herein. The system may power on following a key approach and/or the doors unlocking and then initialize. If there is an approach detected, the lights may be activated and the gesture detection feature of the system may then determine whether a gesture was detected. If a gesture was detected, the liftgate may then be activated. If no gesture was detected, the lights may be activated. For example, if there is a key approach, the system may power and initialize. The system may then determine whether an approach is detected. If an approach is detected, lights of the vehicle may activate and a determination whether a gesture is detected is made. If a gesture is detected, a liftgate of the vehicle may be activated.
