The support contains at least one locating pin and the locating orifice while the optical unit has the other locating pin and locating orifice. The locating pins include two facing parts where one of the parts is identified as the rigid part, and the other of the parts is identified as the flexible part, where the one part is more rigid than the other of the two facing parts.

CONFIGURABLE LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH SHARED LENS AND FIRST AND SECOND INTERNAL OPTICS FORMING A FIRST AND SECOND MODULE CONFIGURATION FOR PROVIDING TWO DIFFERENT LIGHTING FUNCTIONS

A configurable vehicle lighting module system includes a shared lens that provides a first light pattern for a first vehicle lighting function and a second light pattern for a second vehicle lighting function. The shared lens includes a mounting axis as a reference for mounting on a vehicle. First internal optics direct light toward the shared lens to provide the first light pattern; second internal optics direct light toward the shared lens to provide the second light pattern. A coupling system joins the shared lens with either the first internal optics to form a first module configuration for the first vehicle lighting function or with the second internal optics to form a second module configuration for the second vehicle lighting function. The shared lens conceals physical differences between internal optics configurations such that the first and second light module configurations appear the same when viewed along the shared lens.

Integral lighting assembly

The invention describes an integral lighting assembly (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E) comprising an optical arrangement (2, 3); a first light source (S.sub.1) for generating a first beam (L.sub.1) of light; a first collimator (C.sub.1) for directing the first beam (L.sub.1) at the optical arrangement (2, 3); a second light source (S.sub.2) for generating a second beam (L.sub.2) of light; and a second collimator (C.sub.2) for directing the second beam (L.sub.2) at the optical arrangement (2, 3), wherein the optical arrangement (2, 3) is realized to manipulate the first and second light beams (L.sub.1, L.sub.2) to give a first exit beam (BLO) and a second exit beam (BRI) such that the first exit beam (BLO) and the second exit beam (BRI) are partially combined in an overlap region (44) on a projection plane (4) located at a predefined distance from the integral lighting assembly (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E). The invention further describes an automotive headlamp arrangement (12) comprising such an integral lighting assembly (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E).

Headlight lens for a vehicle headlight

The invention relates to a headlamp lens for a vehicle headlamp, in particular a motor vehicle headlamp. The headlamp lens comprises a body made of a transparent material and having at least one light inlet surface and at least one optically effective light exit surface. The body comprises a light tunnel which transitions into a light-conducting element while making a bend for imaging the bend as a light-shadow line. The body further comprises an orientation structure for orienting the headlamp lens in a vehicle headlamp and/or for orienting the headlamp lens towards a light source for irradiating light onto the light inlet surface.

Lighting apparatus and motor vehicle

A lighting apparatus includes: a first light source that emits a first light; a first lens that allows the first light to pass through and exit from a first exit face of the first lens; a second light source that emits a second light; and a second lens that is smaller than the first lens and allows the second light to pass through and exit from a second exit face of the second lens. When viewed from the first exit face side: (i) the first exit face has a recess that is recessed inward from a periphery of the first exit face; and (ii) the second exit face is at least partially disposed in the recess.
