LAMP UNIT
A light emitting module includes an upper light emitting unit, a lower light emitting unit, an intermediate reflector provided between the upper light emitting unit and the lower light emitting unit, and a lens that projects images of the upper light emitting unit and the lower light emitting unit to a space in front of a vehicle. A plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices are provided such that a light emitting surface of each light emitting device faces the lens, and the intermediate reflector includes a reflecting surface that reflects a portion of light emitted from at least one of the upper light emitting unit and the lower light emitting unit toward the lens.
Light-emitting module that images the illuminated surface of a collector, with a blocker of parasitic rays
The invention relates to a light-emitting module including a light source capable of emitting light rays, a collector with a reflective surface, an optical system configured to project a light beam by imaging a portion of the reflective surface located behind the light source, a screen located in front of the light source, with a rear face arranged so as to gather light rays which are emitted forward by the light source and are not reflected by the reflective surface. The screen includes an end face, adjacent to the rear face and facing the reflected light rays, which is configured to avoid and/or to absorb the reflected light rays.
LIGHTING DEVICE, CORRESPONDING LAMP AND METHOD
A lighting device, which may be employed e.g. as a retrofit bulb for vehicle lamps, includes a light radiation source, e.g. a LED source, and a beam-narrowing optical system facing the light radiation source, for propagating a narrowed light radiation beam of the source along a longitudinal axis of the device. Arranged distally of the beam-narrowing optical system along the longitudinal axis, there is provided: a light reflector, a light-driving lens, a filament-like body including annular reflective surfaces extending around the longitudinal axis and exposed to light radiation from the light radiation source propagated through the light reflector and the light-driving lens, a distal mirror member having a reflective surface facing towards the filament-like body, to reflect light radiation towards annular reflective surfaces in the plurality of annular reflective surfaces. The light radiation reflected by the annular reflective surfaces of the filament-like body is spread radially from the longitudinal axis.
LED MODULE AND LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SEVERAL SUCH LED MODULES
A light module of a lighting device of a motor vehicle including at least three optical elements for deflecting the light beams emitted by the light source arranged in succession in the beam path of the emitted light that produces a pre-defined light distribution on a lane in front of the motor vehicle. The first optical element comprises a first reflector element, which reflects the light beams emitted from the light source, the second optical element, which is arranged downstream from the first reflector element in the beam path, comprises a second reflector element and the third optical element, which is arranged downstream from the second reflector element in the beam path, comprises a lens element which, in cooperation with the second reflector element, projects the light beams previously deflected to the two reflector elements to realize the predefined light distribution on the lane in front of the motor vehicle.
Head lamp for vehicle
A head lamp for a vehicle is provided that is capable of irradiating a low beam pattern to the front of the vehicle, without using a separate reflector.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUBTENDING LIGHT DOWNWARDLY
A lighting system may include a reflector having at least one surface forming an interior. The reflector may have a forward opening and a rearward opening. The lighting system may further include an LED positioned at the rearward opening to direct light through the interior of the reflector. The lighting system may further include a lens positioned within the reflector, wherein the lens is formed of a segment of a toroid.
LAMP FITTING, AND VEHICULAR HEADLAMP
A vehicular headlamp (1) serving as a lamp fitting includes: a board (40) on which a first light source (41) and a second light source (42) are mounted; a heat sink (20); and a reflector unit (50) that presses the board (40) against the heat sink (20) and reflects a part of light emitted from the first light source (41) and the second light source (42), in which the board (40) has recesses (45) which are recessed portions of side surfaces (40sf) facing each other, the first light source (41) and the second light source (42) are positioned at inner positions with respect to a bottom portion (45B) of each of the recesses (45), and the reflector unit (50) presses parts of the board (40) that are positioned at outer positions with respect to the bottom portion (45B) of each of the recesses (45).
OPTICAL MODULE FOR MOBILITY VEHICLES
An optical module for mobility vehicles reduces an overall size of an optical system and thus facilitates a package configuration. The optical module for mobility vehicles also ensures a sufficient amount of light and high optical efficiency are through efficient operation of light sources and improves quality of illumination images projected onto a light irradiation area.
THIN ASPECT LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH CUTOFF
A thin aspect lighting system and method are shown. The system and method include at least one module having a reflector that is generally elliptical in one cross-section and generally parabolic in another cross-section. Each module is adapted to generate at least one of a flat beam pattern, a high beam pattern or a low beam pattern, such as a low beam pattern with a kink or elbow. Also shown is a headlamp assembly having a plurality of modules that generate the same or a different light beam pattern. Manipulation and variation of facets and/or positions of various components, such as at least one light source, have been found to provide improved characteristics in one or more of the light beam patterns.
Head lamp in vehicle
A head lamp in a vehicle may include a light source for emitting a light, a reflector for reflecting the light forward from the light source, a lens for transmitting the light being forwarded toward a front from the light source and the reflector, a holder having one end coupled to the lens and the other end coupled to the reflector to make the lens spaced at a predetermined distance from the reflector, and a movable shield disposed between the light source and the reflector and the lens for selectively shielding a portion of the light being forwarded toward the lens from the light source and the reflector, or not shielding the portion of the light being forwarded toward the lens from the light source and the reflector when being moved to create a space between the movable shield and a lower end of the holder to allow the light pass through.
