MOTORCYCLE LIGHT HAVING AN EMITTING BODY SEALING THE HOUSING WITH A RAISED LINE SHAPED MOLDING
20220136672 · 2022-05-05 · ·

In order to provide a motorcycle light in which a sufficient and sufficiently distributed light intensity can be provided with an emitting surface that appears as attractive as possible, it is assumed that the appearance of a motorcycle light is decisively influenced by the emitting surface and the subassemblies located in front of it in the main beam direction thereof, starting from the light sources and extending via the subassemblies that influence the light up to the emitting surface, wherein precisely the emitting surface and these subassemblies are also responsible for a sufficient and a sufficiently distributed light intensity. In particular, this influence and responsibilities seem to be of greater importance than the housing of the motorcycle light, which traditionally has been accorded great importance.

Illumination apparatus for vehicles

A lighting assembly for vehicles, having a number of light sources and light guide elements for generating different light functions, with a number of scattering optical elements assigned to the light exit side of the light guide elements for scattering the light. A headlamp lens is arranged at a distance in front of the light guide elements. The first light sources and the second light sources are arranged alternately in the direction of extension of the linear light signature. The scattering optical elements and/or the distance of the headlamp lens to the scattering optical elements and/or a distance in between adjacent first light sources running in the direction of extension are designed such that first light beams exiting in each case from the scattering optical elements assigned to the adjacent first light sources and adjacent in the direction of extension.

LAMP FOR VEHICLE

The present disclosure relates to a lamp for a vehicle, the lamp including: a board; a light source disposed on one surface of the board; and a reflector configured to transfer heat to the board and receive heat from the board and having a reflective surface for reflecting light emitted from the light source, thereby simplifying a structure and improving spatial utilization and a degree of design freedom.

Vehicle headlamp

A vehicle headlamp includes a shade that shields a part of light emitted from a light source. A predetermined end edge of the shade serves as a cut line forming portion that forms a cut line of a light distribution pattern and the shade is provided with a dimming portion positioned behind the cut line forming portion. The cut line forming portion and the dimming portion form a low-brightness portion having a lower brightness than that of other portions in a part of the light distribution pattern. A portion of the shade including the cut line forming portion is provided as a flat plate-shaped functional surface portion and at least the functional surface portion is tilted backward and downward.

LED headlamp system with brightness control

A headlamp illumination source that switches from a first configuration conforming to on-road illumination standards to a second configuration that does not conform to on-road illumination standards. The switching is preferably controlled by a wireless signal but in some embodiments the switching can be controlled by a hard-wired signal or by a switch proximate the illumination source itself.

Automotive solid-state retrofit headlamp

In an embodiment an automotive solid-state headlamp includes a lamp body extending in a longitudinal direction, the lamp body having a rear base portion and a front portion and including a support member disposed in a light-transmissive housing, a plurality of solid-state light sources arranged on the support member at the rear base portion of the lamp body, and a drive circuitry electrically coupled to the light sources and arranged at the rear base portion of the lamp body and configured to operate the plurality of light sources when energized, wherein the plurality of light sources, when energized, are configured to cause the solid-state lamp to emit, through the light-transmissive housing (a) a luminous flux of at least 1500 lumens +/−10% when energized with a 13.2 Volt test voltage, or of at least 1750 lumens +/−10% when energized with a 28 Volt test voltage, or (b) a luminous flux of at least 1350 lumens +/−10% when energized with a 13.2 Volt test voltage, or of at least 1600 lumens +/−10% when energized with a 28 Volt test voltage.
